Perfectly balanced!

I was having low idle vibrations on my Scout 215 W/150Merc and switched to this prop, Vibration is all but gone but ended up with a pleasant surprise. I only lost less than 1 mph WOT vs my 4 blade but picked up cruise speed and the extra lift of the 4 blade increased my MPG at cruise 1 MPG. Thats 25% which is huge on a boat.

Incorrect size listed

This is advertised as a 14.25 x 17 prop. It is actually a 14.5 x 17. It will still work on my boat, but if someone is needing a 14.25, this is not going to work. I checked the manufacturers website, and they don't make a 14.25 x 17 in 4 blade SS. Great prop, just needs the correct size listed.

Really Great Prop

This was installed on a Bayliner VR6 with a 200HP Merc and a 17P 3-Blade Enertia. The Enertia is not a bad prop, but it was cavitating subtantially on the holeshot and wouldn't make a tight turn without blowing out. The turning point prop is a substantial upgrade: Noticeably better holeshot (it really accelerates HARD), slightly slower planing potential, better turning ability, pulls the bow up more, and it has basically the same top speed (See below). Top Speed Conditions: Full Tank, Solo Driver, Calm Water. Enertia: 50.5 @ 5800 RPM Express: 50.0 @ 6000 RPM

Works exactly as advertised

This prop is great. I tuned my 2007 Reinell, 5.0 Volvo GXi-G, and added the SS prop to the Penta SX and it was like new all over again. I already had an aluminum 4-blade Detroit Wheel, which was really nice, but this new design provide more top end speed and overall stability. Plus, it can pull my fat behind out of the hole when I am skiing. Be sure to use the manufacture web site for size and pitch recommendations. Very helpful!

Works great and easy to install

Turning points prop selector seemed to be dead on! The install was easy and no qualms. Holeshot is about as good as my heavy boat will ever get and top speed is pretty good. I hit 41mph on my old prop and jumped to 45 with this.

great prop - Great company

I had lot's of help from several stores and sources regarding going from 3 to 4 blades and how to size it. I ended up calling Turning Point directly. I spoke with a very helpful and highly placed guy who had a different take on how to size it. I went with his recommendation and it was perfect. The boat handles much better, has significantly more hole shot and barely lost any top end. This was as good of a buying experience as I can imagine and getting the complicated formula right the a1st time was awesome. Buy a prop from these guys. This is my 1st Amazon review.

rust in less than a season

yes, stainless steel can rust over time, but this is in less than a seasons use. Was told how "Every once in a while props get thru that spots were not covered properly and a little rust shows up. These are stainless props, not rust proof and the spot inside the hub cavity really will not effect the performance of the propeller. That can be cleaned up with a little metal cleaner or semi-chrome polish." In LESS Than a seasons use.

SWAPPED FOR ANOTHER ON A REPOWER..

REPOWER GETTING THE RIGHT PITCH PROP FOR THE ENGINES SWAPPED OUT WITH TURNING POINT DIRRECT HERE IN JACKSONVILLE.. GREAT FOLKS TO WORK WITH HIGHLY RECOMMEND
