Fantastic Solution for Access below Washing Machine Wall Box

Needed to open the wall below my Washing Machine Wall Box as one of the Valves had come loose and needed the nut underneath tightened. Very easy process: - Draw Line (I didn't use the included template - I found it easier to trace the pencil line using a level...) Use Drywall Saw (also bought from Amazon at some point during my home improvement projects in the past) and cut out exactly along the lines. - Make sure to stay far enough from the stud so the spring loaded clip can work - Do what needs to be done (in this case tightening the nuts under the box) - Arm panel clips and gently put panel in place.... Perfect solution and next time I need to get in there all I need to do is lift out the panel...

Nice looking access panel

The directions were clear, and this was a simple DIY project to create an access panel behind my shower valve. I cut directly into the drywall. The company recommends that you paint the drywall edges to reduce wear and dust, which I did. Definitely recommend this step if your access panel is going into a drywall opening. I painted the panel the same color as the wall, and it looks very nice.

So Easy To Install

Most Manufactured Homes Lack Access Panels. These Panel's are perfect for dry walls. The project was so easy, and I was amazed on how easy the installation went, from cut out of the dry wall, and just pressing the Access Panel Into Place. It was that easy. Note: This access panel comes with the cover page of the product, as a measuring guide. You'll see the scissors and dash lines as a guide for you to follow, so cut right on the dashes. However, At the bottom of the cover page, you'll need to cut out a 1/4 of an inch at the bottom, to achieve a custom fit to the wall. Philo

Easy install

Used for drywalled basement ceiling application to access water shut off for exterior hose bib. Sits tight to ceiling, not an eye sore, considering lower Basement ceiling height. Template worked perfectly, sturdy, effortless to install in10 min

Not easy to crack and not poorly made You need a nice flat cover this is it. Easy in/out access

This is now the fourth one I am purchasing I used them for 8x8 cuts in the sidewalls of beautiful vanities to cover yet another 8x8 hole that is in the drywall where the fluid masters cover both, also used in another washroom with the same scenario. This is not cheap but do not get me wrong if you intend on using this for anything else besides just opening and closing the shut-off valve area I am not sure. use as intended. the spring mechanism is good I had it pop out once on me but it was very easy to put the spring back in place and works as intended ever since. Highly recommend if you like a flush cover.

Great Item

I had a vision of a removable panel to access piping behind some drywall during a home reno. Found this item on Amazon, in theory it ticked all the boxes of my vision. Ordered it and has turned out perfect. Easily removable, and gives a professional finish to the wall. Wall is painted a similar colour and its actually difficult to see it!
