High Tech for Your Toliet

Fluidmaster 400ARHRKP10 PerforMAX Universal High-Performance All-in-One Repair Kit for 2-Inch Flush Valve Toilets, Easy Install------- This is a very easy-to-install but high-tech component for your toilet! I really enjoy the ease of use of this Product. You can go to YouTube and find out anything you need to know about it. The unique thing about this new feature in this product is that it has a water sensor, which keeps your bowl from running all night. We had hundreds of dollars worth of wasted toilet water each month, because we did not hear it seeping out of the bowl. We literally had two plumbers come over and install the older type system in our toilet and within 6 months it was losing water again it was just ridiculous these products are inexpensive and they work you don't need a plumber just watch the video! this device has a sensor that when the bowl gets to a certain level will automatically shut off the water for you. great product and very easy to install I would recommend it 100 times

Overall good

Everything necessary for a complete tank refresh. The instructions were clear and easy to follow- it took less than an hour to do the whole job. My only complaint is about the tank bolts and nuts. One bolt was bent and unusable, and I preferred the wing nuts that came with my last kit over the hex nuts this provided.

Perfect replacement

Great replacement set for our Kohler toilet. We noticed the stock one had running water issues and began leaking. The water ran constantly. Changed it out in 20 minutes and this was easy and has held up.

All the parts look solid and have held up well so far. The instructions were fantastic. Whether you are just looking to replace parts or the whole inside of the tank, I highly recommend.

This Kit is Worth More Than the Price

This FluidMaster kit comes with everything you need to replace all the flushing components in your toilet tank (you won't get the line that connects your tank with water supply valve on the wall or floor). This is for a 2-inch diameter tank flush valve opening, which is where the flush-valve attaches to the tank (the part with the red-colored flapper that flips up when you push down on the flush lever). Some toilets have 3" valves but 2" are much more common. Verify yours before buying this or you might be sending it back. I was replacing a 22 year old Danco flush system that has the old style float ball on the end of a rod to make the water supply flow and shut off. My toilet would run endless sometimes after flushing and I probably could have just played with the old one, cleaned some of the old parts, or just replaced the flapper and chain but everything in my tank was pretty dingy so I just bought this whole kit for $19 to bring everything up to new condition. I liked this FluidMaster kit a lot because it is very adaptable to any toilet tank with a 2" flush opening between the tank and toilet bowl. You can adjust the fill valve float height, the over-flow tube height, the amount of tank water used when you flush, and the water level in the toilet bowl. The whole job took me about 1 hour from the time it took to remove the old parts to completion of the new parts installation. The FluidMaster is not a noisy flush mechanism but it is not the quietest either. The original Danby flush system took about 60 seconds to complete a flush cycle and this FluidMaster takes about 90 seconds. However, when I first hooked the FluidMaster kit up, it took almost 2 minutes per flush and I felt like a lot of water was being wasted. But the FluidMaster kit comes with this little thumb-roll valve on the bowl fill tube (this is the small tube that squirts water down the over-flow tube to refill the bowl). This adjustable valve lets you restrict the flow rate of water back into the bowl while the tank refills. If this is left wide open, it makes more noise while re-filling, it takes longer to refill the tank (because it’s robbing some of the supply line water flow to fill the bowl), and more water is wasted if the maximum water level in the bowl is reached before the tank is filled, causing the excess water to over flow into the waist line. So, after restricting or slowing down the flow rate of this fill tube line to the bowl, it was quieter, and it cut about 30 seconds off the time I had to listen to toilet noise (your results may vary). This may seem unimportant to some but this toilet is in our master bath and our bed is only 15 or 20 feet away, so this was a good adjustment feature for our use. The one thing I didn’t use in this kit was the new flush lever handle and arm that attaches to the flapper by means of a little chain. The original one that came with my toilet was a nice chromed metal one and was still in good shape, but the new one in the kit was chromed plastic which didn’t impress me and probably weighs less than an ounce. I wouldn’t recommend using the new lever if your old one is in good shape. Your old one will work nicely with the other new components inside the tank.

We did it!

I ordered this item because I wanted to replace all the pieces in the toilet tank. It seemed easy at first but I needed my sister to help me in the process. Most of the pieces were easy to swap out. However, I didn't realize that I would have to drain and remove the tank to replace the seal between the tank and the bowl. The plastic nut/bolt would not come off. (We found a hack online that finally worked.) The instructions were good and easy to understand. If you want to replace everything and have practically a new toilet, this product is for you. (We got this because the seal in the bottom of the tank was eroded and the water kept running between flushes.)

Great apart from one bolt!

Great kit, easy to follow instructions. Only issue was that one of the bolts was a little oversized for the tank to fit onto the base. Luckily, I’d kept the old bolts handy, so used one of those. Other than that, first flush was successful after completion! The kit also saved me money in not having to call someone in to fix. Would recommend for fix

Read some reviews, think some of the problem is the user.

This is a 2 bolt unit not 3. If you follow the instructions and read them before starting it should take around an hour. The adjustability of flow control over the feed and draining speed is nice. Height adjustable of the main tower is also easy. Tank fill adjustablility is good too. I do less water in the tank and higher flow out. Super impressed for the price, I was expecting much worse. You'll need large flathead screwdriver, large and small channel locks, a turkey baster or battery filler(something to suck out the last bit of the tank, hacksaw. Saw some complaints about the seal being too big below the tank. I'm pretty sure it's just because you have the tighten the bolts on each side, a little left then a little right, repeat until it's since down snug. It sits up pretty high till you do that. Way better than the float ball stuff we had before. One of my old bolts/ wing nuts was stuck and part of the head snapped off. I sprayed the wing nut sized with release all. I used my ocilating tool with a metal head to cut a line into the boat and then the screwdriver had something to bite into again. Worked. This is related to the kit which worked very well and should last by the looks of it.

Excellent Value!

Work very well. I've installed at least eight of these and they have always fit - none of the toilets were the same!
