Super Comfortable & Convenient

UPDATE REVIEW: I have 6 bulging discs on my left side. I was skeptical at first when buying this, because even my purple mattress gives me issues. I must say after a week of sitting on this for over 8 hours (I work & study digitally) everyday. I will never go back to sofas, office chairs, purple seat cushion. This zero gravity ergonomic, is a powerful physics tool. Blessing to the physicist who figured this out and the designer that brought it into the seating industry. Because of this design, the back of my thighs are not tight anymore. They always would be, I’d have to get up, walk around.. etc. With this Chaise, I don’t have to. I can sit here all day, even fall asleep here. Obviously - you should still get up and be active to prevent catching cardiovascular disease and such (from being in active) The point here is that… this thing is remarkable. I plan on buying this as gifts for friends and family. I’m actually bringing mine to my friends house next week, so he can experience it for himself, he will want one asap! I don’t know how long the foam will maintain, until it eventually gives in and starts sinking in or whatever, but if it can at minimum survive 2 years, I got my money’s worth and I will buy another one. My health and well being surpasses $196 dollars (any day, and in any universe) Excellent job Zinus team, whatever you don’t mess up what you created here when you update the design, just improve it. Maybe add side pockets so people can skip in their tablets, phones or kindle e-readers (which is what I do a lot of on here) reading on here is super comfy, a delightful experience) ———————— OLD REVIEW: Very comfortable. Lightweight enough for me to carry: 27 lbs. Currently in my living room, but… light enough for me, to bring with me, when I want to go *glamping* aka camping outdoors in comfort. I’m visualizing: being outdoors, campfire nearby, cool weather day, some wine and reading on my kindle or doing stuff on my iPad. While sitting on this zero gravity chaise. Enjoying nature. Bliss! Will be buying another one. Only wish the designer had thought about adding handles to the outer cover material, so we can easily grab, lift… etc.

The most comfortable chair that I ever had!!!

The chair seems to be molded for my body! I could think people between 5' to 6' would be comfortable with it. It was perfectly vacuumed and sealed in a box that I could roll upstairs alone. I had read some people had expansion issues with the chair. So, I tried to be as fast as I could to tear up the plastic and let the chair expand which almost did most of it in the first few minutes. I left the chair alone for a couple of hours before putting the cover on just by me. It was a very easy install and a perfect fit. The chair also has an inner cover which has come with it. The chair is perfect for working on a laptop, watching tv, or napping.

Awesome! We got three!!!

Not sure why others had issues inflating. Did as the instructions said. Unfold, allow 30 minutes, put cover in, wait 25-48 hours. Hasn’t been more then 5 hours and already fully expanded. We did use a leaf blower to facilitate adding air to the cushion. Just pressed the end of the leaf blower up. Whether it helped or not, looks inflated to me probably didn’t hurt adding some air through it. Update: 05/11/23 We loved the first one so much we bought a total of 3. Better price then a couch and great comfort. Update 05/12/23 The cover is super easy to remove but because we have pets we decided to fit them with twin size sheets to help preserve the life of the lounger. Works great.

My favorite thing

You guys, I tweaked my back real bad at work, spent the night on this thing, and it was fixed the next day. This thing is amazing to crash on, has not worn out after months of excessive use, and when I had to move, it was practically portable. It's like a chair, ottoman, and end table in one, and it fits anywhere. Angels are lounging on these in Heaven. Best furniture-based decision I ever made.

It's better than you think but not perfect...

After pushing my luck and sitting in an inappropriate fashion on a basic office chair for a little too long (in years) I developed what is known as trochanteric bursitis... I'm sure leaning back and putting my feet up on a piece of furniture that was about waist level wasn't the only reason... I'm sure work-related repetitive stress also added to the condition manifesting. I ended up coming across this thingie and figured that if the only way that I could feel comfortable sitting in front of my TV was to be in a reclined position that had my feet elevated at least to chest level... Then I owed it to myself to try this thing... I had no issues with shipping nor with it expanding nor with putting on the cover nor with any strong odors... It came I opened the box I cut open the compression bag it expanded immediately I put on the cover while it was probably already at 90% expansion I threw it into my living room and I laid on it. It works it works fine for someone like me who is about 170lb at my heaviest and about 5 ft 9 in height. The thing is that I now come to realize that at the end of the day the position that this type of lounge chair puts you in, which is the position that I was trying to force myself into on the office chair... It's just not a particularly healthy position for the human body to be for extended periods of time... I can tolerate a couple of hours at Best... And I am baffled by the people who claim to be able to sleep on it. As a creep further and further into adulthood... I start to realize that the only true healthy way for a human body to LAY is completely flat on a semi-soft surface...SIT, Bolt upright in a sitting position... Or better yet standing walking and moving... It is the only way that the human body can remain pain free beyond the wear and tear that civilized society and life in general forces upon it...

Like lying on a cloud!!! ☁️☁️☁️

I was worried when I saw the bad reviews, but took a chance considering 91% of the reviews were positive (3+ stars). I was able to take it out of the packaging and set it up by myself and it mostly inflated straight away. There were only a couple of the corners that I had to wait for longer. I couldn’t wait and laid on it before it finished inflating (another risk!)! It’s SO soft! It’s very similar to my memory foam mattress with a hard foam inner core and a soft memory foam exterior. The herringbone cover is gorgeous! I got the light gray because it’s kind of a moon gray and this chair looks futuristic so I felt it was the best look! I just can’t get over how soft and comfortable it is! Genius design by Zinus! Update: Ok! So I’ve been using it for a few days and this is what I’ve noticed: - At some point or another the last corner expanded. So mine expanded 100% - After about 20 minutes of sitting in the chair I experience neck and back pain. I think my spine might be just a bit too tall for the design. ☹️ I also used it completely covered by a blanket so my cat couldn’t get it so that might have affected the performance and tension. But if you have a shorter torso you might be a great fit for this. This might be ideal for teens rather than this adult male who is 5’ 10” (short legs, longish torso). I also want to note that I have a pre-existing condition with my spine where it was hurting so if you’re healthy it might be fine. I just feel the indent where my spine sits is too short so the top of the crescent presses into my neck and forces me forward so the chaise can return to its original shape. - It’s me, not the chair. I still think this is a 5 star quality made innovative product with potential for future expansion. I would love it if Zinus made a couch-in-a-box using the same materials. I think a small supportive regular couch/loveseat made with the sturdy foam and memory foam would be a hit. Or chaises in the same materials in a simple L format ☺️ Return tip: A the inflated chair will no longer fit back into the box, carefully wrap the chair using jumbo plastic garbage bags until sealed or use the original large plastic bag it came in to ship it back using the Amazon Returns process. UPS picked it up. Easy as pie.

Worth every penny!

This chair is AMAZING! Deserves 5 star indeed. Super comfortable, easy to set up, and super easy to clean. The cover zips completely off but can be spot cleaned also. I definitely recommend this chair, going to order a second one.

Defective from Day One

Product was defective and never expanded to the proper size. Started a warranty claim immediately. Took 14 plus email and fluffy responses to get then to make a decision. I had to dispose of the product prior to payment. Took over a month for a decision and to finally get my refund. Significant effort to have it refunded when all I really want was a replacement which I was told is not available yet then are still for sale online in a number of locations.

Awful

The foam never expanded to its full potential. Not worth 260 at all. Useless product on the market. Will not even venture a replacement. Will not fit in its original box to return. Had to makeshift a box. More work than it's worth. DO NOT BUY THIS.

Terrible recliner, just AWFUL!!

Absolutely abysmal recliner, the foam didn't even expand....the entire thing looks like a pancake! No laughing matter, just being honest. The advertised photo is NOTHING like what came in the box. I want a refund!!!!!!
