Rusted away

Have had this item out for approximately 6 months, it has already rusted a significant amount. I emailed the seller customer to obtain a new one. Hopefully they'll replace it.

good weight, price

Just what I expected. Weight is good enough to hold 7.5 foot umbrella on pretty windy day. Doesn't take up too much space, unlike 50 pound bases at Home Depot.

Perfect fit for my table

I was concerned about the size. I have a table with lower support only 9cm off deck, and the support hole is 5cm. This base tube was 4.5cm, and it fit our 1.5”/ 4cm pole perfectly. Heavy!

I've been hunting for the perfect umbrella base for an extra outdoor umbrella I have. And by "perfect" I mean a good blend of quality and price. I didn't really want to spend $100 on something I wouldn't use year round--since I live in the Pacific Northwest, I wanted something that would do well during the off-season too. So far I've been very impressed by the quality of this umbrella base. It fit my umbrella perfectly and the knob makes it really secure so that it doesn't move much when it's windy. It is also the same color as my umbrella so it matches well the other items in my backyard. Overall, I'm really happy with this purchase and I'd definitely recommend it! I'm hopeful that it does well in the off-season as well (although I plan to store it in our outdoor shed so it's not rained on all fall/winter).

Very nice & solid!

Really like this umbrella base. It has a beautiful weave pattern. Nice finish on it. VERY sturdy and heavy so the umbrella will stay put in the wind. Looks great on our patio!

Arrived Very Quickly

Arrived in perfect condition very quickly and very easy to put on the short pole. Good weight to it to hold up to 11' umbrella. Looks nice as well. I definitely recommend this product.

Incorrect product description.

The product description states “Adjustable insert can fit 1, 1.25, 1.5, and 2.25 inches in pole diameter sizes”. This is incorrect. I have an umbrella that is 1.8” in diameter and it was in able to fit inside this umbrella stand. That being said the product image shows that the insert maxes out at 1 7/8” and that looks correct. The description is really at fault here. I just wanted to put this info out there to save anyone else the trouble of buying and returning if they have a larger umbrella. Also the weight is incorrectly stated. On the page it says it’s 9.07 kg (20 lbs) where in fact in the box it’s actually 12.3 kg (27.1 lbs). As for the quality of the item it’s actually quite nice and well built. If my umbrella had fit I would have happily kept the product. I hope this helps you make a decision.

Weight is important to control umbrella.

When assembling discovered that the lock knob/bolt that is supposed to lock the umbrella stand into the base had broken apart. Called the manufacturer for a replacement. Response was to contact Amazon because is faulty, arrange to return for a replacement. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!!! Ship a 30-40 lb. umbrella base back because a $5 part that is easily replaced is broken? THIS IS STUPIDITY!! As soon as the local Lowes is allowed to open will purchase a replacement for $4.59 +tax. Walker-Edison customer support is very poor, avoid their products if possible!

Not bad

I do like this base! The design and material use is great. It works well with my umbrella. The only thing is it’s not heavy enough, I think it needs to be heavier because when it’s big wind it blows my umbrella down… so I think it needs to be more heavy. Other than then it works well.

Heavy

It’s nice and heavy but it put my umbrella up a few inches higher. It was already too high and this just made it not block the sun. I’ve taken it off. I don’t know if all stands are like this, it’s my first one.

Poor Quality - Do NOT Buy

Arrived June 18th, 2021 and this is what it looks like under normal weather conditions on Aug. 30th, 2021. This is not a quality product and I would not recommend ordering it. Very disappointed.
