Good Machine, Terrible Instruction Manual, Loud, Fast Freezing

Ordered the 3-bowl machine for our boys' grad party as everything was rented near by. Machine came relatively quickly and in one piece. Construction seems decently solid though the catch trays in front could be a tighter fit. They can rattle due to the compressor running and will make rattle sound if not firmly attached. To answer most of the questions out there: - It is heavy. Two of my 18yr old sons uncrated it and carried it into the house from the garage. They guessed its over 100lb. - It is LOUD. Tested it and it runs pretty consistant between 82-85 decibles. You will not want it in the kitchen if you are having a party that is also in your kitchen. - It is pretty fast in my opinion. Timed it from pouring in the pre-mixed flavor liquids (pre-mix water and flavoring in a pitcher first, then pour into machine) and was just over 30 minutes to slush up to a good enough consistancy. Did not test it with alcohol (yet) so mileage may vary when that is mixed in - You CAN turn any individual bowl on/of. On the control panel, press the BOWL button you wish to modify and then press the LIGHT button to cycle thru the "modes" until you see it say "OFF" - You can set the thickness of the slush by pressing the BOWL button and then arrow up/down. Bigger numbers mean thicker slush - The fitment of the bowls to the machine is TIGHT. Once removed to clean, you need to push them back in VERY FIRMLY to get the latching mechanism to line up. We experienced no leaks to this point. - Did I mention its loud? - There is a "night mode" but I haven't really figured out what the point of it is. We just turn it off at night and leave plugged in. So far we are pretty pleased with it.

Box got here broken and when unboxed bottom by the screws was cracked

It got here, cracked at the bottom and ripped seal from the dispenser we had to use the replacement I would like to exchange it for a new one if not, I would like my money back

Work great especially if in a temp controlled environment

The media could not be loaded. This unit has been a lot of fun to play around with. Just add a beverage with a fairly high sugar content and fire it up. Add an adult beverage if you like. The controls are fairly simple, however, if you purchase the single "hopper" unit, the control still has three places on it. It will just cycle through all three on the screen. The unit came packaged fairly well with just a slight dent in the side panel. It did not effect the operation at all. On first startup it made a little noise, like a fan hitting on something, but it went away after the first use or two. If you use the unit outside in hot conditions with a full batch, be prepared for it to take quite a bit longer to get to the desired consistency, but if you use it in a climate controlled environment it doesn't take long to make tasty drinks. Overall it is a good unit, but the price seems slightly high. I am satisfied though and would purchase it again.

Works but don't rely on the instructions

When we unpacked the machine I quickly realised that the instructions were badly translated from Chinese to English and then I quickly noticed that they didn't apply to my machine at all. After some Q&A on Amazon and perseverance, we managed o get it working. If you buy this machine, understand that Amazon and the seller do not give any warnings regarding the instructions and essentially leave it up to the buyer to figure things out.

Bowl 1 never work from the first plug in

Got it out of crate. Let it set for the weekend. Pour in the liquid mix and started it up. Bowl 1 spiral barely moved, was jumping and a horrible grinding noise coming from machine. Bowl 2 worked just fine, had nice slushy. Did my own trouble shooting of the machine, sounds like the gear motor on the back has stripped out gears. Cannot believe that this is the quality of product the is shipped out.

Awesome machine but now leaking

Product worked great but after using for several months, it is leaking on the inside. Customer service has been good and we are currently trying to figure which parts need replaced. Manufacturer is in China so it makes things more complicated. Hope to fix soon. Update: still not fixed. I cannot find anyone close to me to repair it and because I don't know what is broken, I can't even get parts to fix it.

Great product and excellent customer service!

We purchased this for personal use and we have had so much fun with it. The instructions were challenging but once you figure it out, it’s pretty straight forward. (Push bowl 1,2 or 3-use “light” button To select mode- use “night “ or “day” to adjust temp). One bowl stopped turning so I contacted customer service and Will helped troubleshoot the problem and the replacement part was sent out that day. Videos were sent to demonstrate how to replace the part. He even followed up a few days later to confirm resolution to the problem...excellent job Will! Overall, we’re very happy with our purchase and look forward to many years of slushy fun!

Instructions Manual not good and very leaky

Instruction aren’t very easy to figure out on how to set the settings and every time I clean it. It is hard to get everything to seal up. It leaks every time, so I have to pull it apart clean the mess and cross my fingers it seals the next time.
