Really great for Stick Handling!

Love these! I hurt my leg playing, and was out for about a month now. Was going absolutely stir crazy with not being able to skate or do just about any hockey related activity. Then I got these bad boys. Been doing stick handling drills like crazy. Best part is the speed at which they roll is the closest to imitating a puck on ice I've been able to find. They're a little smaller than golf balls, but the weight makes them easier to maneuver around. Would definitely recommend for anyone that wants to work on their handling but doesn't get to get on the ice as often as they'd like.

Low profile, low bounce

These micro training balls are designed to be low-profile and low-bounce like a hockey puck, to give a better simulation of stick handling. Therefore they are much smaller than standard street hockey balls, and are not designed for play; only for drills. The liquid inside would definitely rupture and leak if you attempted to shoot these much. Just a little practice stick handling and the 'fill hole' for the liquid was oozing a little, but it held. Whether on the street or the ice, stick handling is a fundamental skill to practice.

Build his Hockey Skills

My son uses these NHL Micro Hockey training balls for practicing hockey but also finds a variety of uses for them! Overall, these are fun for him and help build his Hockey skills.

Not much bounce in these balls

So beyond what these are suppose to be used for, and they do the trick, they work great for massage balls. I get soar joints from working out and these really relieve the pain! The instructions on how to use them to practice stick moves are a little too simple and the writing is too small! Otherwise, good set of practice balls.

Works well for street hockey practice

We live in MN and Hockey is king. My daughters have starting to learn the sport. So we have a net set up and sticks in our driveway to practice. These balls work great for this.

Best for drills, good for driveway practice

These really do work for practicing stick handling skills. You can work on moving and handling without chasing the big, bouncing ball all over the place.

Good replacements

I got these for my boys (9-12) who play street hockey in front of my house. We lose balls in the yard (or lawn mower) or down a drain (it drains into a field behind us, not a water source). So we need new ones every so often. These are inexpensive and work well. We are happy with them.

they do what they're supposed to do!

These training balls are to help with stick handling, not for actually playing hockey with. My ten year old loves hockey and I thought these would help him learn how to use his stick more efficiently. He's had them for a few weeks now and has used them in our driveway. I've noticed that he's better able to get the stick where it should be for him to shoot it where he wants it to go. I'm pretty sure that's the point of the balls, so they have helped him! The colors are good for when the ball strays under a bush. LOL
