Good product by Weaver
Although there is one thing I'd like to see changed with this product I still gave it a 5. This is a very durable product that I found locally by a store that handles Weaver products. I had browsed so many hands free leashes on the internet, but I couldn't gauge their quality & as always there's good and bad reviews, with many of the good ones given the product for free - let it be known, I doled out the cash. I have bought Weaver products before, & never been let known. The Terrain DOG line is made in Taiwan. The waist band is approximately 24-46", with a loop that attaches to a leash that is adjustable from approximately 28-48". The loop is stiched very well & can slide around the waist band - in my case this is really helpful when my male dog thinks he has to leave his mark a dozen times on a run. the waist band & leash have a reflective strip which has so far held up really well. The buckle for the waist band & clips that allow adjustments are a havey duty plastic. I alternate my runs with a 65 lb pulling female labrador & an 80 lb easy pulling labrador and nothing shows any signs of stress. The one thing I would like to see is a flexible portion of the leash. I know there are many of those type available, but Weaver has a good reputation for making durable products and many of the available flexible hands free leashes looked inferior & the nicer one are pretty $$$$$$. I have simply bought a 12" $3 bungee cord with a carabiner on each end, this really helps allowing some flexibility when I slow down or my dog forges a little. Definitely a recommended product.
