the bristles stain

I like this brush as we use it to dust out our professional coffee grinder. The bristles are soft, I can throw it in the dishwasher and it doesn't appear to shed at all. My only complaint and the reason I gave it four stars is because the bristles stain. I am particular about any and everything in my kitchen and it needs to glisten and not show signs of any stains (yes, even my cutting boards are snow shite). Once I figure out how to get the coffee grind stains out of the brush then I will repurchase "o)

great for delicate breads

i had no issues with stray fibers. i'm pleased - yes, trying to get EVOO out is a bit of a pain - but what isn't. after hitting the brush with hot soapy water and thoroughly rinsed, i wrap up in a paper towel to air dry - and NO, it's not hard to fan out

Very nice pastry brush

This brush is excellent for baking uses. I use them to brush pans with am even coat of butter, brush egg whites on bread and pastries and they have been easy to clean in super hot soapy water and no shedding!!! I don't like the silicone brushes as I feel they don't hold onto the butter/oil/egg wash well, leading to drips and overloading in one area and nothing in another. The old school fiber brushes shed like crazy, which was a pain. These do need to be put back into shape after washing, but it's easy and quick to do. Whatever shape you have them in while drying is the shape they hold.

Nice but not made in USA as page says

I like nylon bristles rather than fat silicone or shedding natural bristles. I also like that the band around the bristles is not metal so won’t rust. Disappointed that the description said Made in USA but the label on the packaging says Made in Mexico.

Good brush, wood sealer started peeling after first wash

The brush works nicely, no bristles have fallen out and it bastes nicely. The reason why it's only 3 stars instead of 5 is because of the wood sealer peeling off after its first wash. We pilled off of the flakes, so now it's just rough wood.

Very nice brush

I use this to brush on egg wash to my homemade bread dough, before sprinkling with sesame seeds. (Also bought the sesame seeds on Amazon,) i do try to buy less from China, and this brush says made in Mexico. It does the job i bought it for!

Brush is durable & very easy to clean

I bought this brush specifically for baking. I have a special cookie form that needs to be coated with flour before using it on the cookie dough so it doesn't stick. This brush was exactly what I was looking for.
