Boot saver
Great for ski resorts where you are unable to ski in and ski out and have to walk long distances. They save your boot pads from wearing down and give you traction while walking on ice and snow. Would recommend and the best part is that they fit in your pocket for when you are on the mountain.

Sturdy
Product well made and sturdy. Only concerns were the fit. A little tight at first. Warmed them in front of hot air from space heater - about 30 seconds and then put them on and let them cool. Worked fine and held the slight stretch. Other concern was they sent an older model - straight orange inset. They recently redesigned so heel and to inset is angled and it now has “rocker” design for more comfort walking. My price was discounted but they failed to mention that was the reason. I would have liked to know that. They work, so I did not return them.

Good grip and easy on and off
I bought a pair late last ski season after a bad fall on ice at ski area parking lot. They were a bit loose on my old boots and slipped off once. Bought a new pair of boots near end of season and the large skitrax I had no longer fit - too long. Bought a medium this year and initially thought they were too small but after giving them a good stretch they fit very snug and were easier to get on an off after being stretched. I keep them on my boots when not using and I think that makes them easier to get on and off. Also, I can fit each of the skitrax in my cargo pants pockets so I don’t have to worry about were to stash them after taking them off to ski. Recommend these but suggest trying to get ones that will fit snug to the length of your boot. Sizing chart in the pictures on the Amazon website.

Don't have to worry about slipping
Slip resistant and also protect the bottom of your boots from getting damaged or not fitting in your bindings.

Big fan
Makes walking around in ski boots more comfortable and tolerable. Saves your boots from wear tear as well. I bot them for my wife and son who also appreciate the comfort.

Needlessly huge, totally impractical
These things are crazy thick. If you ever need to walk miles in your ski boots, you'll want these! For anything less, they're needlessly huge, take up way too much space to be practical. They fold, but the massive sole thickness means they're still giant. I use a small backpack, and these take up too much space to carry them, unless I don't carry much of anything else. Also won't really fit my generously sized ski jacket pockets. Even if they did, would be too worried of injury in a fall. They're that large. Not sure what situation I'd actually use these. Would have to be where I'm going to walk far in ski boots, while carrying my gear bag, so I could stow these in lodge with gear. But if I'm carrying gear bag, I'm not wearing ski boots yet. What was the thinking here? I want to protect my boot bases, and have some traction beyond what slick plastic boot base provides. Why would I need thick padding for long distance comfort?

Too big, too heavy and they stink
I never even bothered to put these on my boots. They are simply too big to fit in my pockets, too heavy to want to have them slapping me in my thighs all day, and they really stink right out of the bag. I’m sure they are easier to get on than other brands and they certainly look like they would do the job, but given the way I use these, they were a non starter for me. There are less expensive, lighter, more compact alternatives. If you leave them in a locker all day, they would be fine, but then you might as well bring walking shoes.

able to walk
I was having difficulty in walking in my ski boots due to the jarring off the heel hitting the ground. These slip on have cushioned this and also given me more grip to walk on snow. I think they are a really good product and are easy to store in a back pack after removing them.

So much better to walk in
Bought for my girlfriend who has always complained whist walking in ski boots, too slippy, uncomfortable, hard work etc. Even if I'm carrying her skis its too much effort. These have changed her life!!! Genuinely. The 'rocker' action make walking more natural, like normal shoes. It gave her a fair amount of grip on an icy slope. There a bit of a pain to get on, she really struggled on her own. In fact, I had to do it every time. (worth it for the peace and quiet!) The sizing is also something to be careful of, we originally bought X Small, they only just went on, with a lot of pulling. Despite the boots being the same size as the maximum guide states. We returned them and got the next size up which fitted better. Its also worth checking there on properly, we did lose one which was annoying, ice on the binding might prevent them going on each time. Over all, I wish I'd got these years ago.

Become a Mountain Goat in Ski Boots!
Having skied for the last 27 years walking around in ski boots was always the place I thought was my biggest chance of slipping over and actually hurting myself. I bought these SkiTrax before a trip to Austria this year and was super impressed with them. They really do add the much needed grip ski boots lack and also add a cushioned feel when walking. I thought they may have a tendency to slip off when applied to wet boots but no hint of that at all. A great thing to have in your back pack and makes that precarious walk to the toilets at lunch (which is always down stairs) that much safer. I couldn't recommend them enough.

Skitrax
Skitrax make walking along a road in snow or on ice far more easier, far less slipping. It cushions and protects the ski boots. Very easy to get on and off. I purchased size extra small for my 277mm boots (size 3 in normal footwear).
