The back flap wasn’t heavy, but it wasn’t able to be connected to my sons’s shoulder pads. Make sure the back flap can be connected Z

Great back pad!

Fits perfect on my 12 year old and he’s 5’ 5” 115. Hasn’t really been tested on the field yet but I’m sure it’s going to hold up great.

Very Big

I bought the adult size backplate. I am a freshman playing Freshman Football. I am 5’10 150 pounds. This backplate was huge on me. It almost turned into a rib protector for me. Speaking for most football players we are trying to look good while we are protected. And you really cannot look good with this on. Now when your jersey is over it sure it’s just like any other backplate you get. But it was just to big for my enjoyment I would recommend something different. And any parents buying this for their son. I want to let you know that is football players really enjoy looking good on the field. This really isn’t the best. I would try something different. But if for some reason you do not care about looks then it does it’s job of protecting.

It's a backplate and does what's it's supposed to. Came brand new

Nice pad, but straps are not long enough

It’s a nice durable back pad and at a good price..I would have given it 5 stars except the top straps on the back pad that attach to the shoulder pads are not long enough. so when you attach it the back pad may not low enough to cover the lower back. I had to not use the supplied screws and use twine to attach the back pad to the shoulder pad (basically to act as a longer strap) so that it would hang low enough to cover the lower back
