Keep It In the Kitchen

Instead of trying to find tape and a pen to write on my freezer bags, this works great. Yes, I'm writing white over the white space on the bag, but I can still read it. A lot neater than my tape that doesn't seem to stick or my permanent pen that doesn't seem to be.

Not a chalk marker.

This was NOT what I was expecting. It’s not a chalk marker. It’s kind of like a crayon, but waxier and more malleable. And it’s thick - difficult to use for lettering or any other fine/small details.

Can’t sharpen it

It writes smooth but there’s no way to sharpen it so writing in small spaces is near impossible.

Awesome chalk-like writer!

No it's not chalk, yes it is waxy looking like a crayon, but a rounded tip. You can see where the face of the tip rubs off as you write with it. On chalkboard it looks like beautiful solid chalk lines, much better than what you can achieve with real chalk, it's what you envisioned your chalk writing should look like. Its very satisfying, and if you have a modicum of finesse anf dexterity, you can create fine lines and clear lettering. The writer is not thick at all. That said, it's not a fine ball point pen. Its about az thick as a crayon. Get over it. If you dont try to smudge it immediately, and give it a few seconds to dry, it will not smudge, which is awesome. It also removes very easily with one pass of a wet cloth. I use microfiber cloths for everything so that may have a better result than other people who said they can't get it off. What are they trying to wipe it with, telekenisis? It won't wipe off with your finger, but thats a good thing. Love this for writing on my chalk labels. Last thing, I found this at Dollar Tree, can't beat the price there!

Okay, not great

Received product as advertised, but once I wrote 20 labels the writing part began to fray and it no longer writes neatly or legibly. Seems to be a cheaper product in all honesty. Great for short term, dont expect it to last.

Just what I needed.

Use it to score on my dartboard where other products would nit work. Easy to use works well and cleans woth damp cloth on my board.
