Does the Job

Works good, not great but still recommended. Occasionally when the bar is in the up (vertical) position and you close the sliding door, the bar will come down from the vibration locking you outside. A quick fix is to bend the base inwards slightly to give a better grip which solved the lockout issue and never happened again. The extender bar occasionally moves inward or outward from use instead of remaining in place which causes the user to readjust the length. Not a big issue (takes less than a second) to readjust but also needs to grip better. Haven’t figured out how to MacGyver that one but not a deal breaker.

I like that it fits in the track for my sliding door

I have 2 little dogs that don't like the flap touching them! I have had to clip the flap in half so they can go out without the flap touching them! ????

LOVE it! My 7 week old pup had a hard time climbing over the bottom lip. But 2 weeks later he was a pro. They are in and out all day without my help!! So easy to install,too!!

Don’t buy used item. Mine was missing multiple parts.

Purchased sliding door lock bar. Purchased used like new but bar was missing mounting plates and 1 other part. Security bar is most likely good with all the parts. This I was not able to give more than 3 stars.

Everything was great until…

This product was easy to install and worked well with my sliding glass door. It was working great, until I went to move it up one day and the only piece that holds the bar on broke. I discovered that the this piece, which literally makes the bar usable is a tiny, weak piece of plastic that is easily broken. I had the product for around six months before the piece broke. If that piece was metal, the quality of the product would be great. Unfortunately, that one little piece made the entire thing unusable. I would look into another safety bar, making sure that it doesn’t have a cheap piece holding the bar together like this one.

Great idea but flimsy

I liked the idea of the door like but unfortunately it’s not that sturdy. Parts broke the first time it was opened. It’s the bracket that holds the locking bar when open was sturdier this would be a home run

So easy!

Super easy to install and helps push my old slider in the door jam….helps with keeping the draft out.
