Scratched up lid

4 stars because the top is scratched up but other than that I like it. Wanted something nicer for our jack Russells ashes. Could most likely hold ashes for a large dog too

What I was looking for

The design and size were exactly what I was looking for ???? it’s a really nice way to remember my little dog. The lid fits perfectly and does not move (as some comments I read before). Really greatful ????

Lid is not secure

It's beautiful and well made, other than the fact that the lid does not screw or suction tight. It sits loosely on top.

Lid doesn't stay on

I like the style of the urn, but the lid does NOT stay on. So, I had to glue the lid on. An inconvenience, but an easy one to fix. Don't buy unless you want to glue the lid on.

This Is A Great Way To Honor My Best Friend

I do not understand the negative reviews. I just got this and I’m a very, very picky person when it comes to my best friends, especially the ones I’ve lost. I accidentally knocked over a vase that had my pup’s Claire’s fur & collar in it. I had maintained it in her shelf that has her ashes for 10 years. Every week. This one time, it just shoots off the shelf and breaks. I feel lucky to have found this. I needed something fast as I felt very down on myself for doing that. This came and is VERY WELL MADE. Thick porcelain, the gold parts looks great, it’s a beautiful message, and the top is solid wood, very thick. This would be excellent for color + fur in my case OR ashes and you don’t have to pay a ridiculously high price for it. I highly recommend this. Also, it was delivered in one day when ordered. Great job, really appreciate this. R.I.P. Claire

Perfect for a small pet

I was a little cautious buying this, but for the price point, I went ahead. I am glad I did so. It is about the height of an Alexa, but wider around. There was more than enough room for my 8lb cat's ashes inside, and a lock of her fur. The gold is nice, not tacky looking, and the wooden top does have a silicone seal around it, so it is snug to the jar. It would be no problem for me to seal it myself, but I do feel the top is snug and won't wiggle or move at all, that I don't feel it is necessary. It is the perfect size for a cat or small dog, and I think it is sweet. I am very happy with the purchase.

A Simple Loving Keepsake

It is a beautiful urn for my schweenie Gizmo (20lbs), the lettering is clear, it is a good weight and the lid has light suction as you would find in the lid of a jar candle. I know some reviews had an issue with the strength of the lid, but where am I taking it? My sweet boy's ashes sits on the shelf, safe and secure. When we move I might tape the lid but as with most ashes they are double bagged in plastic and satin within the urn, so spilling is not an issue.

Beautiful urn, but the lid doesn't secure very well :(

This is such a beautiful pet urn and I would have kept it except that the lid doesn't secure very well at all - instead of screwing on, it has a rubber ring/gasket on the inside which creates a bit of a vacuum seal when placed on top. Unfortunately it doesn't seal very well, and even though my plan is to have it sit on a shelf, I would feel a lot better if the top actually screwed into place securely. Aside from this, the urn is truly beautiful and the inscription with the paw print is so nice, I just wish the lid actually sealed.

Awful!!!!

I have no idea how this got such high reviews. The craftsmanship is awful, the lid is crooked and doesn’t even screw on and the material it’s made from is so cheap!! This is awful!! If you loved your pet, DO NOT BUY!!!!

Cute but lid is not secure and easily spilled

Sending it back .. this looked like exactly what I wanted for my beloved mr cat. But it's kinda useless as an urn .. the lid does not stay on at all!! Its floppy and loose , not at all something I'd feel safe putting my babys ashes in, as there is way to much risk for dumping and spilling. Its cute if you wanted to put like some items like collar for memories.. but not for ash :(
