The aeration of the suit as well as the quality

I've waited a long time to submit a review for this suit because I wanted to see if it was as good as described. It is and here's why. I ordered the bee suit 420 bee suit for the aeration. I originally ordered the polycotton bee suit and had it shipped in February. There was absolute no breathability to the suit. I have used the 420 Aero bee keeping suit five times now and find the breathability very necessary in the ninety degree heat that I've had to inspect the hives in. I've never been stung. The hat is snug and the veil offers all the protection you need. It is a very durable suit. My daughter and I have taken up the hobby and she ordered the non aerated suit and regrets having done so.

The screen on the veil touches my face back of my head and ears

Im happy withe the overall quality of the suit except the veil, it dosen't seem to be very protective. It is the first suite ive owned with a round veil im mote familiar with a fencing stile but was looking forward to the 360° veiw. For the price i feel it should have a better quality veil!

Nice Quality

I have yet to put this to the test, but I did try it on. The quality is very nice. Solid seams, heavy duty zipper and a perfect fit. I didn’t find any issues with the face shield. My neck is well protected and there’s plenty of room between the netting and my face. Edited: I finally got my hive started and I feel well protected wearing this. I’m glad I purchased this one although, now that I’m more comfortable around bees, I think I’d prefer just a hood and jacket. I don’t think there’s any need for the full suit unless your bees are very aggressive.

This suit is incredible..I haven't been stung yet, and believe me, they try ????...material is high quality and zippers work fine...EXCELLENT buy!!

Move up a size

I was worried about the sizing. Im 6'2"220lbs and the extra large was just about perfect. If you are any taller or heavier it will be too snug to stop the bees Im guessing. Im going to cut the elastic waist cinch but otherwise its worth the cost to get a really good quality suit.

Great armor against stingers

I got stung by several yellow jackets and ended up in the emergency room. Two weeks later I bought this bee suit and put in a Jean Jacket and Jean pants underneath. Took my revenge on several ground and soffit nests. They are all dead and this outfit kept me safe. I don’t recommend this approach for everyone, but the suit us highly effective and keeps you cool.

Wayyy smaller than described. The wedgie made them even smaller. Granted I purchased as a recycle. (Previously purchased and resold by Amazon.) So maybe they had been washed and shrunk? I literally would have needed an XL instead of a medium. ***Update: As a side note when returning a sold as recycled product from Amazon it takes forever to credit back. It’s sat at “Dropped off” for days now and says “when they receive item it will be credited”. Sadly for this reason I am less likely to purchase “used” from Amazon again. Update 2: After 3 weeks I was finally credited back. Hoping to get a suit that actually fits in time to install bees. Suggestion: Save yourself the time and frustration. Go for 2 sizes bigger than the actual size you wear.

sizes run small is problem, but quality material, good sting protection.

TO THE COMPANY PLEASE MAKE SIZES 4X 5X 6X SO A MEDIUM TO LARGE PERSON CAN GET A SUIT TO FIT COMFORTABLY LOOSE. I ordered size xxx[3x with Round Veil] because I wanted loose oversized suit. but at 5 foot 7 inches and larger muscular body type I barely fit the triple x. a six foot person would not be able to wear suit unless very thin body and suit skin tight.. I do enjoy the fabric protection from bee stings, now only my lamb skin gloves let a rare stinger reach me. the veil is close to the face so make sure you have it pulled out and away from face. I am not bothered by the closeness I can see better into hive. but I do understand how some people might be uncomfortable by having the honey bees only an inch from nose. I GAVE A 3 [50/50] REVIEW fix the sizes and I would give a 5 star.

Worth the expense

great suit and unlike others the sizing is accurate so for a small lady beekeeper ( my wife) you can get something that actually fits Pricey but well made so will last Cool in summer and completely bee proof Dont be tempted to go one size smaller thinking it will be needed The right size will give you a comfortable well fitted suit without the crotch being down round your knees like some others

Toller Anzug für Standimker

Ich war zuerst unsicher wegen der Größe, habe aber mich einfach an meine körpergröße gehalten und er passt mir super. Hatte ihn jetzt etwa 20 mal im Einsatz. Wurde durch den Anzug selber nur einmal am Bauch gestochen und das auch nur, weil ich eine Biene zwischen Zarge und mir hatte, das fand sie nicht so witzig ;) Ich würde den Anzug nur für Imker empfehlen der seine Bienen nicht im Wald hat. Er ist durch das Netz doch eher empfindlich. Ich habe mir schon am ersten Tag ein Loch am Knie gerissen. Die Reißverschlüsse sind meiner Ansicht nach eine Schwachstelle, da sie eher billig aussehen. Durch das Netzmaterial habe ich aber das Gefühl, dass es wirklich luftiger ist und im Sommer einfach angenehmer zu tragen.

Combinaison efficace et rafraîchissante

Aucune piqûre d’abeille pour l’instant. Je l’ai utilisé dans une visite au rucher qui a été mouvementé alors il a été testé suffisamment. L’aération fait clairement la différence lors d’une journée chaude, on sent l’air qui traverse l’habit lorsqu’il y a un peu de vent. On peu se mettre en short et t-shirt en dessous sans problème. Le tissus gratte un peu, mais on s’habitue vite. J’ai pris une taille médium et je mesure 5pied 3. Un taille small aurait peut-être aussi fait, mais j’aime mieux être très à l’aise. Il y a des poches pour les outils. Les fermetures éclairs sont solides et la combinaison ferme hermétiquement. Le seul bémol, le rebord du chapeau est un peu petit, il faut faire attention à ce que le nez ne se colle pas sur la moustiquaire, mais ce n’est pas très problématique.

I don’t recommend.

My smoker lit the sleeve on fire as quick as lightning. Highly flammable and tears super easily. Also, definitely made for men as the hood keeps slipping off my female head and there is way too much material in the screen and neck. On the positive, I have not been stung through it which is good and surprising because it is completely see through. Arm pockets are fairly useless, material is course. I feel uncomfortable and uncoordinated in it. I don’t enjoy wearing it. A big nope.
