Smooth 6BB angled for ice rods

When we went out with a guide ice fishing the pro fisherman used these. Excellent value, 6BB, and angled to specifically use with ice rods. Bought one for myself, and works excellent

Unusual Reel Foot Angle

Just received this UL spinning reel from Green Mountain Outfitters, through Amazon.com. Although I am pleased with the quality, I am disappointed with the extreme angle of the centerline of the reel and the reel foot. This aims the reel more directly at the rod than at the first rod guide. Upon using it for the first time yesterday, it casts just fine; however, upon the retreive, this awkward angle creates a magnified wobble/vibration in the rod. This, in turn, reduces your ability to feel light hits. Not a good thing! In all my years, I have never seen a reel with a set-up like this.

Great reel for ice fishing

Great reel for ice fishing, previous reviewer noted strange foot angle. That is due to the reel being used on a 28 inch ice rod verses a 6 ft open water fod. great for the price, will buy more.
