Great Perch!

I bought this perch in size large for Pepper, our Congo African Grey. It came very well packaged with styrofoam that was form-fitted to the branches, and was completely undamaged when received. The stated measurements in the product description were accurate. I installed the perch immediately, which was quite simple -- just separate the two washers, put one on the outside of the cage, and tighten the wingnut. So far it seems to be very sturdy (it's been about 10 days). Usually Pepper is very wary of new items in her cage, but she loved this perch from the second I put it in. The perch has different diameter branches and she moves around to various parts throughout the day, which is good for her feet. She seems to use this as much if not more than the other 4 perches that she's had for a while. Overall I'm quite pleased with this perch!

junk, avoid

Came cut/broken in two places. This is not natural wood so this defect can be avoided. Aside of the fact that it was broken, Quality does not look great ether. Perch is thin and feels like gong to break... since it is not natural it should have some metal rod inside to provide stability and make it strong. Maybe for very small birds it will be OK, but for large parrot it will be broken in a day or to, assuming it was not broken on arrival.

Large Nature's Perch

I bought this perch for my Cockatiel about 5 months ago. He loves it. going in and out over and through the branches or just standing on it while he preens himself. it was very easy to install and looks great too. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PERCH!

poorly made

The actual perch was very nice but the screw size was inadequate for attaching to the aviary and ripped out requiring a hacksaw to remove the hardware. Very disappointed. This was the large size perch and not the cockatiel sized perch reviewed by others. I suspect the hardware was intended for the smaller size.
