perfect lil starter set!

i got this as a way to start out my 1/2" impact socket set w the basics for mm / sae. it was on sale for black friday so i got it on a helluva deal which was all the more incentive.. its got your basic most used sizes in the reg/short style sockets. and i can easily add on to this as they offer deep/tall impact socket sets that will match w this fairly well. plus you can just buy singles for those odds n ends that arent included but youd like to have. the quality of build on these are top notch, hefty solid sockets that immediately upon holding u can tell will stand up to whatever you throw at em. the si,es on the socket walls arent the hardest ever to see,, but theyre most certainly not the greatest when it comes to visibility; but you can see them no prob all the same so its of no concern. the sockets have a cutout hole for ball detends which is nice so these wont pop off easily. and when situating them on a impact wrench w a hog ring, they sit down the anvil very well.. some ive seen will only get halfway down n get caught up but not these. the ones ive tried so far all have a solid tight grip so no wobble from the wrench or impact, and the hex head side is very solid too which is good as they wont tend to slip as much as if they were more wide open. the wrench itself is biig. not overly big but big and solid. the ratcheting mechanism is very very fine quality w at least a 70 tooth (if not more) drive head. smooth operation and the switch between forward and backward is very positive; no half steppin here. I love how it comes in these Dewalt set cases, as i have several from other previous sets like the ratcheting wrench sets, or 1/4" socket sets.. they all comnect together well and are easy to carry connect and see into... i just wish these cases were compatible with Dewalts toughcase+ /tstak lines,, it seems they dropped the ball on that one by changing the formua... which is even more a downer seeing as they have 2 other 1/2" impact socket sets w the deep Metric and deep standard sets and it woulda been great to have those all sitting on top of my tstak drawers w toughcases conneted on the top for a complete set ... but i guess ill live .. all in all its a great set for the price, the quality and value are well worth it, and they dont seem like theyll let u down anytime within this decade

Rather Complete Set

Purchased 09.19.19 to remove long screws securing front and rear outer tub assemblies of an older model front loading Kenmore washing machine. The set has since been used for a few other projects. As of 05.08.23, haven't used it much and so can't speak to long-term wear and tear, but it has worked well and served its purposes. The components seem well-built.

Good Socket Set

I wanted a small socket set that was impact rated. I wasn't sure that my regular set would stand up to use with the impact driver. This set has worked well every time I have used it.

Don't Overwork the Ratchet!

Don't overwork the Ratchet because of the gears made of a soft steel, and they are Not as strong as expected. Ratchet may get locked and it will be a hassle to make it function again. But overall I am happy with the Set.

Impresionan

The media could not be loaded. Se ven de excelente calidad. Tal cual las fotos. Excepto que más grandes de lo que imaginaba. Solo había tenido de ¼ de 4mm hasta 13mm o su par en SAE, pero este tamaño me ha impresionado. Quería usarlo en todo, pero no han salido muchas oportunidades, pero en lo poco que he necesitado están muy sobrados en fuerza. Cambié la suspensión de mi Toyotita Yaris y mi Vocho, de lujo. Compatibles con cualquier maneral de 1/2 y con llaves de impacto. Muy bonitos. Lo que más me agrada es el estuche rígido, que además se apila con otros kits de la marca o de Craftsman, para guardar y tenerlos a la mano ordenados.

No me enviaron el producto correcto

El producto es de buena calidad. Sin embargo yo pedí el juego de dados de impacto que se muestrán en la página con No de Cat. DWMT74739 y me enviaron un juego de dados cromados con un número de catálogo diferente DWMT73813, que incluso son un poco más económicos. Me parece que en algunos departamentos se están volviendo descuidados. Pensé en devolverlos pero la devolución no considera los gastos de envío e importación y solo devuelven el costo del producto.

Excelente calidad

Tiene una muy buena calidad de construcción, al trabajar con los dados y la matraca da una sensación robusta y agradable. La matraca de 72 dientes ayuda mucho en lugares con poco espació de giro y es muy cómoda. El acabado es fosfatado resistente a la corrosión; yo lo recomiendo ampliamente puesto que he trabajado muy seguido con este juego de DeWalt y todo muy bien hasta el momento.

Missing only 10mm cube

You cannot go wrong with this set, highly quality strong and sturdy the only bad part is that the set dont includes 10mm sockets you need to order one or just order another set only of sockets (same brand) with Dewalt tools you never go wrong they always stand behind of their product

Updated: Warrenty useless in Australia Great impact socket set, let down by the ratchet

The impact sockets work great with my rattle gun, which is the main reason I bought the kit, however it comes with a ratchet too. I work on very heavy machinery and trying to undo a bolt the ratchet internals somehow slipped and jammed up and is now useless. I will soon find out if this lifetime warranty is hassle free like it says. Update - contacted about the hassle free warranty, warranty is not available in Australia.
