The width is larger than you might think

This is a well-made product. Other than cleaning the window and the suction cups, and placing the cushion inside, there is no assembly required. It feels sturdy enough. However, when I measured my windows, I determined that it would barely fit and that I might have to angle it a bit to one side or another. When it arrived, though, I found that I would have to angle it more than I had anticipated, largely because the suction cups extend beyond the width of the bed. In other words, the bed itself would just fit, but the suction cups required me to angle it more than I thought. I am not sure that my cat is going to be okay with this, although she might be okay with her head in an upward position. It was months before I could get her to even try out the new cat tree I bought her, and now she loves it, so I don't know what her review would be. I am giving it a good rating because it would have been perfect if my window were larger. I would be nice if the position of the suction cups were adjustable, however. Later... It's been three years now and the only times that I have ever seen a cat in this thing is when a feral cat was walking by the window, and then, the only reason my cat went into it is that it's the only way she could get to that window. I have never seen a cat lying in it. I have other window beds that they use routinely, so I can only surmise that it's the angle they don't like. I won't be changing my rating because, in the right-size window, I think these would work just fine.

Bigger cats may need to squeeze in

It works great only thing is if you have a bigger cat they may have more difficulty entering because the holes are a little thinner. My bigger cat still made it in and both my kitties like it.

I thought this would be great....

Unfortunately my cats did not take to it at all. Did the usual (I've owned cats my entire life) and they were not interested. So I am returning unused and hopefully someone else can enjoy it.

Awesome Hide but not for Large Cats

This window hide is my cats favorite place to be. I had to spray it with catnip so he would get in it, but now he gets in without hesitation. The suction cups are super strong and stay where they are while he lays in it. I did clean the glass and suction cups with Rubbing Alcohol before adhering it to the window to make sure the suction cups would work. My only complaint is that it's more for smaller cats. My 10lb cat has no issue getting in and out of it and can turn around. But my 16lb cat who is in the pictures can only go in and lay out. He has trouble getting in and out of it due to his size and cannot turn around. Don't get me wrong, he loves it, but he barely fits. If you have a cat larger than 16lbs, this may not work for you. Either way I give it a 5 out of 5 because my cats love it. It's sturdy, easy to install and my cats love it!

Best sleeping spot in the house

We have two cats who begrudgingly trade off who gets a turn to sleep upside down, sideways, balled up, and any other way they decide to contort inside this window seat. They LOVE it. We have three different seat shapes now from this brand. The old suction cups seem to work the best for us (this one has never ever popped off) - we got one of the new models with suction cups with a twist mechanism, but for some reason that pops off after a week or so of use. The cats don’t appreciate the fall, but only stay cautious of it for about a day before they are back in it. For new buyers, just know that it will take a bit for your cat to get used to it. Our two boys were freaked out when we put them in it for more than a month. But around when we stopped placing them in it, one went in on his own and looked so relaxed, the other got jealous and bit Makko’s toes until he got out and Boomi got a turn. Now, if one cat is in the submarine (our name for the enclosed model with the port hole), the other is surely in the banana (open top model).

Cat Favorite

We have 3 of these now. Two in living room are one green with no cover and one beige with cover. Our cat loves to birdwatch and catch a nap. He likes so much we bought a covered charcoal one for our bedroom. We put this over window a.c. at same level as citrus tree. He loves to watch all the outdoor movement from a secluded spot. Okay... funny idocyncracy: he does not like the padded insert! He works at it until he can get it out. Then he carries it far away! If you put it back, he will take it out again!

Great suction but uninterested kitty

I've never had an issue with the suction on this thing. I've had it attached to my sliding glass door since September 2019 and just took it off about a month ago. It was actually quite hard to get off of the door, it took two of us to do so! The only issue is that my cat wasn't interested in it at all. I'm going to be passing it along to a friend who has multiple cats who may be more interested in this product. Overall I think this is a great product and would definitely recommend to anyone who thinks their cat might enjoy a window perch!

Buyer beware

It keeps falling off the window an my cat is scared to chill in it now. So dont buy this unless you have a way of glueing the suction cups on the window.. Cuz they barely hold with the sticky pads... Whenever the sun hits the window it softens up and will begin sliding down again.... It never fully hardens to hold the bubble in place. I feel really ripped off. Its probably products from china. Cheap as $#!t...luckily my cat wasnt hurt too bad when it fell the first time. They didnt even include the sticky pads to put on the suction cups... Cuz the suction cups wont work just by themselves. So i waited a week while the sticky pads were shipped. Then they slide down now every time the window gets warm from each sunrise. Very annoying to constantly have to fix it.... Which really doesnt fix it... Im thankful 2 out of the 4 i glued actually hold cuz otherwise my cat might fall again. I just cant get the last two to stick. Ugh. So annoying! If i knew all this trouble would come from this i never woulda bought it! Buyer beware! Third party sellers are shadey!

Great purchase but needs a wide window.

The media could not be loaded. Great purchase was a little wide for the places I wanted it but the suction cups worked great for my small pets so didn't matter if I didn't use all of them. Only thing is there is not much depth so the old girl I bought it for doesn't sit in it long.

Brilliant!

Brilliant product, my three ferrets absolutely adore it. Really easy to put up, it's made of good quality materials, and it's been attached to my living room window for about two months with almost daily battle royales in it, and it's showing no sign of falling off.

Bought as a gift for my grandkitts, both love it as it's a perfect spot in the sun. We didn't expect the heavier of the 2 to use it but she feels safe and it seems secure. Arguments are expected.

Sloping surface

I do feel this product needs to have more if a flat surface on the bottom for the animal to settle on and to be honest I did expect this... It is quite sloping.. My cat has yet to go in but not sure if she will be comfy due to this x
