Really wows the Trick-Or-Treaters!

These lace curtains are really cool Halloween decor for your windows and I received a ton of compliments for them from the 300+ Trick-Or-Treaters we had (old enough to comment--LOL)! Parents wanted to know where I purchased such great (and different) window decor. They will be great to use for many years to come. One hint: They look best with some kind of colored sheer curtain behind them to give them a little more ambient light than just the "room" light shining through them, alone. I used a "cheap" burgandy sheer...but other warm colors would do just as well. We did not even put the lace curtains on rods--we just taped them around the window frames with blue painter's tape, so as not to damage our paint(or the curtains) and in such a way that the tape would not show from the outside, since I think they look best stretched out straight and not gathered on a rod. Our house is 160+ years old, with double hung window glass measuring 28" x 70" (35" x 72" for entire window frame), so the curtains were a little big for our windows but still looked eerily terrific!

Perfect Halloween Accessory

I love these window coverings! I hang them for Halloween using a tension rod so it doesn't interfere with my pre-existing window treatments. I have the skeleton panel as well. They look great in the front of the house, back lit from a light in the room. They would also look good with a strobe light or eerie colored light as well. I just use a low light for a subtle effect. Highly recommend!

The Set Made a Great Gift

I am so happy that I decided to buy the 4 designs early on - witch, ghosts, skeleton, spiders - as a gift. My brother's home has 4 floor-to-ceiling glass panels and I have been helping him look for a wall decor that's tall enough. Plus they are good quality thick lace to boot! Now one design is no longer in stock, so sometimes it does pay to take a risk.
