A good gift box isn't crazily overdone but far better than giving someone a gift in a bag. the ribbons on the inside, are in a plastic bag and require you to make them how you want, which is disappointing but it wasn't anything expensive and worked for what I needed it to, overall pretty happy with my purchase.

NICE box about 4in on each side, you have to undo the bow to open!

DO NOT try to pry it open, you open it by undoing the bow! The black version I got can easily get scratched and smudged, but it comes packaged inside another box, so it arrives in pristine condition. DO NOT take the box out of the cover box until you're ready to gift it, otherwise, you'll risk making it look less than perfect. Handle with CLEAN and oil/lotion-free hands! I used it to hold a watch but had to make a makeshift tube to hold the watch upright, since 4in. is a lot of room for just a watch. The included paper strips are not a lot, and they're perfectly straight, so you'll have to crumple them yourself (in my case, I sort of made them into a "stick nest", so it looks really cool). Again, it's not a lot of filler paper, and it comes in a separate ziplock, so plan accordingly. Beautiful box, it feels expensive, heavy, well crafted and sturdy. Loved it!

Box is great but not confetti

The box is really cute and sturdy. The confetti paper it comes with comes in straight lines and you have to fold each one yourself which would take hours. I tossed that and just used tissue paper inside the box with my gift instead. I wish the confetti paper came already usable. I would've preferred using that over tissue paper.

Nice Box -no instructions for shred

The box arrived quickly. The box is lovely, just what I needed for a hand blown ornament gift. It came with a bag of cardboard strips that I assume are the "shred". There are no instructions for them. They certainly aren't enough for cushioning the ornament. I am guessing the "bow" is the grosgrain ribbon affixed to the box. I gave it 4 stars only because there were no instructions for the purpose of the shred.

Cute little gift box!

Sturdy gift box for something small, like jewelry or earbuds. Bow was smushed-up and crinkled when it arrived, but it is easily straightened out. Would buy again.
