Good for the Price

I wasn't sure what to expect when ordering this locket since hitorical reviews were mixed. It didn't come int he velvet bag, as advertised, but it did come packaged nicley in a box. The directions tell you to use the "template" to cut out your photo shapes. no template was included. That being said, the locket itself was beautiful (pretier than expected), it was functional and I was able to get the photos into it with a little work. I used OddPrint to order my photos using the advertised locket dimensions. It worked OK but I should've ordered them a little smaller, I think. The center photos were difficult to place (two pictures plus two plastic covers didn't want to fit). I had to use a pin to make the gap a little wider, get the photos in, then pinch it again.

Decent Size Locket

I discovered that it is hard to find lockets these days, unless you search the web, and then there still isn't loads to choose from that may meet your criteria. I was in search of a heart locket of a decent size that I could attach to my bridal bouquet. During my search I only found one other locket that was larger than this one, but it was ugly, in my opinion. I thought this one was very pretty. Although the first one came damaged, with a ding on the front and scuff marks all over the back, the second one was perfect. I dreaded the whole exchange process but Amazon made it amazingly easy for me, and even shipped the second locket before receiving the damaged one. They also covered the price of the return shipping. All is well now. The only major complaint that I have is that the locket is VERY difficult to pry open. I won't be opening it much on my wedding day and I won't ever wear this locket after my wedding, so this isn't an issue for me. FYI-This is a four-picture locket and can open in one of two ways. Amazon does not inform the customer how the locket opens in the product details and could not tell me when I spoke to a representative on the phone. However, the rep was extremely pleasant and willing to help, but Amazon just did not have any additional information about it in their computers. I had seen another four-picture locket on this site where the four hearts formed a "shamrock" design once opened. But this one is not like that. This one just turns as if you are turning pages in a book. Hope this info. is helpful to someone.

Wonderful Necklace

I totally loved it! The necklace came very clean and shiny, and it is easily opened yet hardy enough to stay closed. Plenty of room for pictures. The gold coloring is the perfect shade, and not too yellow to make it unappealing to look at. The chain is a bit flimsy, so I will be replacing that to ensure it doesn't break too easily. The design on the front of the necklace is truly beautiful in my eyes, and well done. The actual pendant itself is a good size, not so large as to look strange on your neck and not too small to where no one can see it and you can't fit pictures inside. I purchased this necklace to keep my family close when I go away to college, and I was picky on which necklace I chose. I believe I made the right decision, and I would definitely recommend this necklace to anyone to buy. Truly beautiful!

Great locket!

Very nice looking locket. I am very happy with the purchase and would definitely buy it again, however I do have a few comments. 1) The latch was a little finicky. I had to press pretty hard right next to the latch to get it to latch. Even if it isn't latched it doesn't want to fling open, so it doesn't really matter... Just a little imperfection. 2) Chain was a little awkward in length. It's a little too short to hang outside a sweater or something but a little too long to wear with a lower cut top. It hangs into the cleavage too far and makes my wife uncomfortable. I will probably buy an 18" chain. 3) It was a little light in weight and feel for my taste. I guess you can only give away so much gold for the price, but I would prefer a heavier locket.

Nice necklace but it’s a DIY

It’s a nice necklace but I was hoping there would be a website that would insert the pictures for me. If you buy this product, make sure you have pictures small enough to insert and/or scissors to cut them down to size. The most difficult part was inserting pictures in the two side frames. The middle frame is dual sided and easy to insert, but the pictures are not securely in place. Again nice product but be prepared to work.

NO VALE LO QUE CUESTA!

Lo que me agrado y engancho fue la cantidad de fotos que puedes tener en el relicario, pero aunque indica ser de "chapa de oro", lo dudo mucho, no es de buena calidad, se siente muy ligero, y demasiado frágil en su totalidad, realmente esta MUY ELEVADO EL PRECIO para la calidad tan mala, me lo acaban de entregar hoy y me da miedo hasta abrirlo pues siento que se va a romper y la pestaña q lo cierra ya no se ajusta con fuerza NO LO RECOMIENDO!!!!!!

Looks great

After ordering a similar product from a different site and was disappointed with the quality and size of the locket, I ordered this locket from Amazon... Very happy when I received it. I was able to fit 4 pictures in it very easily and looks really good on my daughter.. I don't know how the locket will look long term but so far very satisfied with this product

the wife loved it and 4 pictures are the perfect amount for our family. Some lockets hold only 1 or 2 pictures. Feels solid but needs some finger nail strength to open it. Better than opening when not wanted. All in all perfect

Decent locket, but...

I likely received a used item. Was not packaged in the promised velvet bag, but rather rattling loose in a box. Chain is not worth anything and was tangled so badly. Would return but sadly pressed for time.

Ok value for money.

Not great but not bad, value for the money for sure but requires a bit of work to put the pictures in it. You can’t buy much for 100$ in this line of Jewell.
