Great Product- Not So Great Purchasing Experience

I like these sponges for making soaps because they're always consistent sizes compared to the other loofah bundles sold online. But I ordered the three count, and only one was shipped. First, the package came a day late. Tried to contact via the phone number Amazon suggested for a replacement of missing parts/pieces, but it was invalid. So then I started through the whole return/refund process and luckily was able to just sort it out with a new replacement order on the way. That said, by the time they get here it will have been a week since I ordered. This brand is also sold at some Big Lots locations (USA). I would have bought there for convenience, but my location was sold out. Please note, for people not familiar with buying loofahs- they come flattened and individually wrapped. They must be rehydrated first by running under a bit of water, shaped a bit, then let dry before crafting/using.

They’re good but not what I thought

These are fine and nothing’s wrong with them, but they’re cylindrical in shape. I only gave three stars because I thought they were flat scrubs.

Inconsistent and harsh

Some of these do not soften like other loofa sponges I've tried. They tend to be very harsh. I believe there was one or two in the pack that were somewhat soft, but the rest are almost unusable.

Harder than others, but lasts longer

I liked that this came in a pack of three. I love using loofahs on my skin as it’s the only way I feel clean. This particular loofah seemed a bit harder than others I’ve used. Because of this it took longer to be able to actually use it, even after soaking it longer before first use. The loofah did it’s job and stayed intact longer than others, which is a plus.

Rough

A little to rough for me

Stiff and coarse

I wanted to love these and needed a new option for my previous plastic loofah but they were just too rough. I don’t have sensitive skin but left my arms and legs red. Even after multiple uses, it was still very stiff and hard to use. I kept them for exfoliating the bottoms of my feet which works great as I work on my feet all day.

Eco-friendly, no rich lather, not gentle exfoliation

The title of the product mentions things like "rich lather" and "gentle exfoliation", which for me, has NOT been true. I find that i have to use a lot of soap for it to soak in or else it just comes off with the water. I've been using this for a little over a month, and when i first started using it, I found it was very inflexible, had a very off chemical scent to it, and was very rough. As time has passed, it has softened slightly and become a little more flexible, and the scent has gone away. However, that advertised gentle exfoliation is non-existent. I occasionally get cuts and scratches from accidentally scrubbing at an incorrect angle. I dont even really scrub or apply pressure, but its still very rough and sometimes, a little painful. I dont have sensitive skin which makes it worse. Otherwise, i at least appreciate that im using a product thats eco-friendly.

Puffs up nice

I just received my 3 package and while in the shower it puffed up nice and big. Bigger than I expected to be honest. It was pretty hard but the water made it softer. The soap I used didn't really lather up but I didnt use much. This really does exfoliate. Im happy with them and they are a good price.

not easy to use

the cylindrical shape makes it not easy to rub against your body. I had to cut each piece in half to make it flatter and more practical. Other than that, it feels like a natural loaf.

Nope

Not what I want when I am looking for a loofah of this kind. It is meant to be more rough in it's natural state but these have gone under a process which has smoothed it out. Will not be purchasing again.

Amazing

I didn't expect that much for this product to be so organic and as natural. The photos says it all about the before and after hydration. It even came with some of the seeds of the fruit. Highly recommended if you want to be less guilty about using a commercially plastic made exfoliator or even scrubber.
