Very sturdy well-made shoe

I looked for these shoes at many places. This was one of the best prices and size availability. The delivery was earlier than I expected. I have been wearing them a few hours a day to break them in and get use to driving in them .I am a older person and I like to feel more stable in my shoes. These fill my expectations.

Love my current pair but new pair were too narrow :(

I reluctantly returned these shoes. I ordered the wide width but I could tell as soon as I slipped them on that they were too narrow. I currently have a pair of Eastland shoes in the same style that were "handed down" to me several years ago. They are the most comfortable pair of shoes that I have ever owned! I absolutely love them. I am really disappointed that these new ones didn't fit. One thing I did notice is that the soles felt more "plastic-like" on the new shoes than on my current pair. The soles on my current pair feel more rubbery. To be fair, I didn't own my current pair "from new" so, I don't know what the soles felt like when the shoes were new. I would still be willing to try another pair of Eastland shoes. I would probably try to buy from a store where I could try them on first. Amazon made returning the shoes super easy and I received my refund MUCH quicker than I expected!

Comfortable shoe for working on feet all day.

I buy this shoe for comfort for my feet. I'm on my feet all day on concrete floors, which causes alot of foot pain. These shoes really help alot.

not style but good quality shoes for my (discount )price .

i walk a lot for job reason ,so before buy it , i hope it is good quality , and low price , so I didnot surprise at my first sight when I got it , it's not the high level style and good looking as DR MARTINS or BORN , I feel it even not leather ....i think 2 star I can give it the first day....... while after 3 week , my attitude have big change , yes it still not style or the shoes you expect to wear when you want date a girl , but it's ok for work , it even slip-resistant (a little surprise ), and It looks do like real leather , so ,to me bought it at discount price 28$, what can i complain it ? it think it worth this price. if it still good performance after half year , I will give it five star.

Perfect, for me....

I bought a pair of these shoes in 2005 prior to taking a trip to London. They fit perfectly the first time I tried them on and were very lightweight. I wore them all the time over there, and they were very comfortable. Since then I have worn them often, even taking them overseas once more in 2010, a trip that required lots of walking and climbing. While the outside of the shoes are still in very good shape (especially given how long I have had them), the insides are showing signs of wear. When I found out that Eastland still made the exact same shoe, I just had to order a pair. They, once again, fit comfortably, were lightweight, and I could not be happier with them. If they last half as long as the first ones did, I will be thrilled! I see no reason why they should not. Very, very good product.

On my second pair. On feet a lot during day. Wear 1-2 x per week. Wears well. Love these shoes.
