Didn't fit my handlebars...

I got this for my Rad Runner, but it didn't fit. The assembly on the mirror is adjustable, but it doesn't get quite small enough to fit my handlebar. I'm surprised because the Rad Runner's handlebar are pretty substantial, though I can't find the actual dimensions of the handlebar, it doesn't look appreciable smaller in diameter than most handlebars. I was really disappointed, but I gave it to a friend who was able to put it on their bike with no problem - so I know that it works and it's very convenient to have a mirror when riding in traffic.

A Cheap Alternative

Works pretty good, though not as versatile as my 'name brand' one. So, if the price is right and you can save a buck or two, I'd go for this. Otherwise better off with a 'better' option.

Does the job.

This mirror does the job and is quite easy to install. The mirror is plastic so you don't have to worry about it shattering if you crash. I needed a rearview mirror and this one does the job. It took less than 5 minutes to install and it does not move during the ride. Once I position it, it stays put.

Great bike mirror - easy to install, aim, and great field of view.

I ordered this product in Late July and then had family in the house for most of July and August and it got put somewhere and I forgot about it. Today I found it, and it made a great excuse for a bike ride. It was securely packaged on a heavy piece of cardboard inside a heavy plastic bag. I popped the "cork" out of the end of the handlebar and it was easy to install, having the standard 5mm allen head screw. I found that in my case the initial longer section of the mirror mount was best made parallel to the road (or sticking out forward from the handlebar). That made for the most options for mirror adjustment. I appreciated that the mirror was actually mounted off center on the ball joint because that allows you to rotate the mirror out far enough so your body isn't in the image, and adjust for other mounting variations. The ball joint seems tight enough and the mirror does not seem to shift. The image is perfect on smooth roads, and on roads that are a bit rougher there is some vibration, but you can still see everything you need to see. I am very happy with this mirror. The only decision I haven't made yet is that when I ride alone I tend to put the bike in the back of the truck and don't want it to get messed up. Since it only takes literally a minute to install/remove I will probably just remove it if I transport the bike in that manner. If I always put it back in the same way I won't even have to adjust it! I would recommend this mirror, and the price was decent!

Need to have removable grip to install

Product seemed very sturdy, and would have worked except my handle grip was not removable. The grip must be removed to install the mirror. The mirror itself was a good size and didn’t skew the reflection, I’m bummed I couldn’t use it.

Decent Inexpensive Bike Mirror

I needed a new mirror for my bicycle, so I ordered this one. It's made of plastic but seems sturdy and durable, although I wouldn't want to let my bike tip over on the side where the mirror is mounted. I doubt that it would survive hitting a hard driveway or pavement. The mirror was simple to install and provides an acceptably clear view of what's behind you when riding. For ten bucks, you really can't go wrong with this bike mirror.

A must for all bike riders

I started using a bike mirror when I had eye problem and had to wear an eye patch. After using a mirror I realized how much more safe I felt knowing what traffic was coming from behind me. I like this mirror as it is well built, it is easily adjustable, has a large surface to see, and it feels secure on the bike. You do have to put the mirror on the top as there doesn’t appear to be a way to put it below the handle bar so I have had to adjust where I look to see the traffic behind me.
