Broke with-in 6 months

It was easy to install and I loved the hardware. I didn't care that the seashells were obviously fake. I'm disappointed cause I've had this toilet seat for 5 months and it just snapped. If we were big people I could understand...maybe but everyone in our household is under 200lbs. no reason for this to snap. Waste of money.

It’s adorable, but it cracked after two months!

Well, it’s beautiful, but it was a little wobbly after I installed it and now the side of the toilet seat cracked after just two months! I guess it’s a month too late for a refund?

These have changed over the years...

I have had this type of toilet seat for over 20 years. Over the years they have changed. The first major change is they no longer put real seahorses and some of the shells anymore and have replaced them with imitation seahorses and shells. Also the acrylic used to be slightly transparent and now it is opaque. I still like it better than an average toilet seat but I really miss the original ones!

Looked gross, not as pictured

The cast seahorse and other plastic fake shells looked melted. Melted brown things scattered about on a toilet seat and lid isn't the best look. Poor quality. Unfortunate that these companies don't just use natural shells. It's not like they are that expensive, so weird to choose to use fake plastic things instead.

I like others remember when these where made with all real shells - the plastic replicas are a bit disappointing but still very pretty
