Good Hitch

Met my expectations. Box not packed well, metal edges poked holes in the box...almost lost the bolts. Install time, 45 minutes << two people.

Don’t forget to order a wiring adapter.

I only received the ball mount the first time around. Shipped it back and then received all components. All I needed to buy was the ball. I got the hitch, ball mount, hitch pin with keeper, and the installation hardware. Installed on a 2001 Honda Accord ex v6. Install was very simple and only took 15 minutes!!! Removed the spare tire. Bolted the hitch onto the tow hook finger tight. I used my jack on the other end of the hitch to hold it in place. I torqued down the bolt on the tow hook. I checked the to make sure the hitch was in the right place. I drilled two holes strait through the holes on the hitch. Dropped the bolts in place and finished. Great product. Now I can load my Atv on my trailer. Load my roof rack cargo carrier and go hunting with my Honda Accord.

I was very happy with the installation and operation

I was very happy with the installation and operation. The mounting instructions could have been clearer related to the spacers and the bolting to the "tie down." I figured it out though and I used it to tow a trailer about 650 miles.

Did not fit 2001 Honda Accord

I ordered this product because it said it fit a 2001 Honda Accord. It did not even come close to reaching the frame on both sides of the car. I feel the look up feature needs to be updated to reflect that this does not fit this vehicle. I reordered another hitch from another manufacture. This turned out to be a waste of time getting the car ready only to find out it was not the correct item.

Choose a different hitch

This hitch requires drilling 2 holes in the floor of the trunk and (per manufacturer's installation instructions) should not be used with a bike rack or other non-towing purpose without using a stabilizing strap. I tried, but the strap is just more work and would not fit without rubbing on the trunk in a way that would wear off the paint. There are other hitches that do not require drilling, bolt to the frame, and are much better solutions.
