I purchased this carry-on for my 14 lbs dachshund. We were taking her on a plane for this first time and I wanted something that would be wide and long enough for her to be comfortable. She just fit in it where she what able to sit up and lay down with no trouble. The carrier is very cute and one of it's best features is it's width. I am only giving it four starts because I feel there could be some improvements of the design features. For example the front zip up pocket where your pet can poke their head is great, however I would prefer it zip all the way to enable the pet to walk in versus having to maneuver placing them in the carrier through the top. Also, the front zipper up should have a ventilation window, especial if you are traveling on a plane where the cabin air is already poorly regulated. Like I said other than that it worked for our purposes.

Only super cute.

It's hard to get my dog in because you have to put her through the top and the opening is narrow. She'll jump in but it flops around. The inside is easy to clean. And I like the pockets. But I wouldn't recommend it.

NOT AIRLINE APPROVED

We bought this for our small dog. She fits in the bag perfectly. HOWEVER when we called the airline to check (American Airlines) they told us that bag was too big for the intended purpose....so why does it say "airline approved?" It's not. That's like saying my mustache wax deters bears....just a full blown lie.
