Great bottle but does stay cold long

Great bottle, locks into my holder well, and matches my bike nicely.wish it was a clearer,lightly smoked outer plastic. Also it doesn't insulate very well at all compared to my not insulated bottle. Really don't notice a difference.

Could be improved

It's good. No plastic taste. thick plastic. works well. But the lids will still leak unless you screw the cap on SUPER TIGHT. almost to the point where you feel like you might do damage. This could be improved.

Great Price, actually dishwashable

This was able to be washed in the washer on hot and still seals and still cools. Amazing price.

This is an initial review

I've just recently received these to try out. I ride primarily dirt and gravel and get tired of caked on dirt on my bottle nozzles. Tried the Camelback and while it works the piece that attaches it to the bottle is not very long (attached to the bottom of the nozzle) and causes the cover piece to hit you slightly while drinking. This Polar version it attached to the bottle itself so while I hate storing it after cleaning it none the less gets the protective cap out of the way. As far as being an effective thermal bottle, well none of the plastic bottle keep stuff cold for very long so it is what it is. Used it 4 or 5 rides now and I do like it much better. Seems to be easier to clean than the CB and I've had the CB nozzle break on me a couple of times removing it to clean. Don't see that happening with the Polar but time will tell.

Moldy cap

I love the bottles but the newer caps are very hard to completely clean. If you think you're cleaning it think again. Mold develops in the crevices of the cap and you can't fully clean it without a cotton swab or pipe cleaner. I'm surprised these haven't been recalled. The older caps are extremely better. Having bought these for my kids is very concerning.

the bottle is good

I wanted to like this one better than I do. The bottle keeps water cooler longer. But the reason I bought it was for the muck cap. It works, but it is not a one hand friendly operation. It takes some effort to get the process to work for me. Good luck. I will use this till I find something better.

4th bottle we've bought; Spouts all tight

Bought for my son's friend as we all had a bottle to keep water cooler when we were out walking at campground. Does an ok job for an hour or two, but nowhere near as cold as our stainless steel bottles that stay home. Spouts are all very tight to pull up but it fits on their bikes and easily goes to school without worrying about a big heavy bottle falling, denting or cracking. The muck cap is great. Always clean.

Too hard to raise/open valve

Nice enough bottle. Red valve too tight. Can't open with teeth hard to open by hand. I like the cover cause too much horse crap on mtb trails sometimes. Hey clean up after your horse!

El agua huele y sabe espantoso

La botella está muy padre de apariencia, le cabe bastante líquido y el sistema de cierre de válvula es sencillo y funciona bien, sin embargo el olor y sabor del agua es espantoso, he intentado todo para quitarlo y sigue ahí. No lo volvería a comprar y recomiendo que no lo hagan, al parecer es un problema recurrente con las botellas Polar. Tengo otras 3 Camelbak y ninguna tiene ese problema.

Buen tamaño y con tapa

Buen tamaño (aproximadamente el tamaño de un refresco de lata regular) con la ventaja de una tapa para proteger del polvo y fácil de lavar. La coraza permite mantener el líquido frío.
