Computerized swein brother help me!!!

My first pic the purple bib was swein a bib with cs7000x the other with a non Computerized swein machine I did horrible, I'm new to swein and before giving up I picked this machine I'm not quitting now this one is a keeper!!! I'm very happy satisfied

Simple and easy to use

This is my second Brother machine after giving up on several faulty Singer machines. I make small handbags for vendor events so this is my daily workhorse. I’m able to sew through marine vinyl and heavy fabrics with no problems. The sewing is seamless with no glitches or hiccups.

Thread Tension Issues

I purchased this machine 10 months ago and have had problems with thread tension from day one so I don’t recommend it for beginners!!! I’ve been sewing for over 50 years and even I had issues with it. I did find that using quilting thread helped some. I just have to keep an eye on it because I have accidentally changed the tension while using the machine especially if I am quilting a large quilt. I put tape over the knob to prevent that from happening. I Love that it came with a walking foot and it’s great at sewing through multiple quilt layers. The extra features like being able to set the sewing speed and the needle position are great! Also like that it is so easy to change to a decorative stitch.

SOLID & MANY OPTIONS

Was willing to spend more but so many from the quilting group suggested this basic machine as they have multiple sewing machines but majority said this was their favorite. Keep in mind they have sewed for years and have very expensive machines as well. Lightweight, many options and sturdy. I had a Singer previously and this machine blows that one away as it is quiet, comes with the table attachment, self threading is a bit tricky but I love this option and it’s simple to use. I kept my previous case which fit this one fine but would have been nice to have come with one.

Great for beginners.

Never sewed a day in my life. Got this sewing machine after reviews on the internet. Glad I did. The automatic threader and light was a huge plus. Sewed RV curtains for my vintage trailer and looks professional. Tips for new beginners: read the instructions on how to set up the bobbin and how to thread your machine. Highly recommend.

Love this machine!

I was looking to replace my 30 year old JCPenney machine. I did a lot of research and many reliable sources pointed me towards this machine. I mostly use it for simple projects and for altering clothes. This machine has been wonderful and I am more than pleased with my choice.

Great sewing machine

I bought this as a portable second machine to take to the cottage, travel with, etc. but it has become my primary sewing machine (I have a heavier, computerized Janome quilting machine in my sewing room). It would be great for a beginner, with lots of options to help learn how to sew, but it's also good for an advanced sewer who needs a capable machine but doesn't need all the bells and whistles. It is fairly quiet and can move a little when sewing heavy or bulky projects but that's to be expected with a more light weight machine. The included attachments and a quilting table along with the functions make this a great overall sewing machine.

If you are buying this in the UK, don't

Bought this item from the amazon uk site but was in fact a US import. Brother sewing machines are not dual power, being 120V only (not uk 240V). No uk plug is supplied. Item returned.

I AM IN LOVE

I love this machine, so easy to use, lightweight, sturdy and adore the embroidery stitches. The cover and table are absolutely great, i recommend this machine 100%. Instructions are easy to follow and love the threader and the walking foot.

Great for beginners

This was my first computerized sewing machine, I had just an hand me down mechanical before. Its super quite, easy to use, I love that you can control your speeds, which is great for beginners. Has lots of options and comes with a lot of handy attachments.
