Great for wire work

Great little tool to add to your collection of Jewelry making tools. especially if you have carpal tunnel in your hands or just want to that extra help gripping your wire work when wrapping. I highly recommend.

WORKS GOOD BUT THE CROME IS PEELING AWAY & THE TIPS ARE SLANTED WHEN THEY SHOULD BE FLAT WHEN CLOSED

Very hard to close

When you can get it to work and it is not bent, it is a very useful product. However, mine came twisted. Beyond the manufacturing issue it is VERY VERY hard to close, and I cannot do it with one hand. When you get it closed, it holds very very well. I use it to hold wire jewelry parts so that I can wire wrap them together. So, while it requires effort and strength to use, I use it often. I usually get a family member to close it for me. It is small and works better than other clamps I have used and the rubber does not mar my wire. A mixed review I know. To summarize, it has good points and less good ones.

Only Scored a 4 only used twice a bit tuff to open bit other than does what it says in the tin keeps your line and grid in place

Not as good as some

Good but not as good as my previous purchases of this type of clamp. The lever needs to be pushed forward to the rubber pads to clamp slightly counter intuitive. If pushed back the bracket flexes out and does not clamp properly. Works fine if used this way though. Price does reflect on the quality but hey another 50p a clamp isn't going to break the bank.
