great dip machine, a little wide set though, so probably best for wider shoulder people

This is a great dip machine. Its actually my second bar. I had one of the loop style bars, and it worked ok, but it was a little low to the ground, even at the highest setting, so it was difficult to get full extension. This machine goes together fairly easily, and it comes with the tools needed, though it would be faster with real tools. The bars are set a little wide, and this could put your shoulders in a bad situation, if you go too fast. I have previously injured a shoulder from doing dips too fast, so I am acutely aware of the danger. For me the wider grip is a subtle reminder to mind my technique. I really like the potential height for this bar. It allows me to get full extension, and I do a knee raise at the end which allows me to get full shoulder rotation, which really seems to put extra emphasis on my upper chest at the top of each rep. I am 210 to 220 and about 6'0" tall (short legged). This machine feels stable and durable for my size. I love the setup, and I am glad my son talked me in to giving him my previous loop bar. I keep this at my office and I hit dips about every 1.5 hours. ITs a nice little refresher from sitting at my desk. My wife appreciates what it does for my chest and shoulders as well.

The rumors are true - but it's still good

Ok - definitely too wide by a few inches. It's "ok" for me because I have wide shoulders, but there is minimal tricep engagement here. It's primarly training shoulders & lower pec for me. Someone with a smaller frame would probably find this useless. As for sturdiness - solid 8/10. It does the job but I do feel the slightest wobble sometimes. There is also a poor point of design in that you NEED the 4 rubber feet for this to sit level. Why not just bevel the bottom so the bolts sit flush? That's just lazy.

Wonky but for the price it gets the job done

Much like yourself when I saw the price I was like Oh wow what a good deal. I was also skeptical of the quality for that price rightfully so. Overall I’m happy with the product but I will say it is a little bit wonky after putting it together it ever so slightly wobbles and the metal uprights are not 100% squared with the base but I would say it’s about 96% squared in the base can be shimmed up so it won’t wobble. The minor imperfections are not enough to make me dislike or return the product. In this case you get what you pay for. I still would recommend this dip station. If you decide to go ahead and purchase this item just understand you’re not purchasing a commercial quality product you really are just getting a $75 dip station.

Not bad for a home gym

Easy to set up, but a little on the wobbly side due to the width. I noticed this was a common theme in some of the comments I saw, but I was still willing to take a chance for the price. Even though the width is a little more than what feel is needed, and it feels a little unstable I am still pleased overall with this dip station.

Pretty good for price

Wasn't expecting alot for the price. I was pleasantly surprised. It was easy to assemble. Feels pretty solid. I'm 210 and it holds me fine. Looks good. Nice affordable addition to my gym.

Sturdy enough for 200lb, 6ft individual

I wouldn't recommend extending the height fully. I'm 6ft, 200 lbs, and find this product sturdy, when extended no higher then second highest position.

I hate dip stations with angled handles. If I want angles I’ll use my gymnastic rings. Other reviewers have also claimed this is very wide. I don’t find it to be so and it’s width actually recruits more of the upper body as opposed to isolating the triceps. The dip isn’t an isolation move. It has been called “the upper body squat” for good reason. I find it comfortable and it can handle a tonne of weight.

The media could not be loaded. No sabia si subir el video pues voy regresando al ejercicio pero puede servirte para saber si te sirve el aparato... Mido 1.83 y por la altura curvo un poco las piernas pero me permita hacer un buen fondo, en la parte superior me gustaría que sujetara las agarraderas otro tuvo por en medio O que pasé por los huecos adicionales en las agarraderas para obtener más estabilidad para evitar esa apertura pero se puede desempeñar bien el ejercicio

Es bueno y sólido, fácil de armar Incluso corte unos perfiles aparte y puedo usarlo como pres de pecho Soporta mucho peso Su única desventaja esque los agarres son muy abiertos y incomodan a los hombros un poco incluso entrenando tríceps entrenas el pecho Pero fuera de eso es muy buen producto

concuerdo con la mayoría al principio se siente extraño por la separación pero es algo a lo que uno se acostumbra, creo también es un tema de fuerza conforme lo utilice mi fuerza aumento y puede controlar mejor la postura, coparado con press con barra y mancuerna la apertura de los brazos es la misma
