Did you know that this was something you even needed?

I had a bunch of chain left over from a ceiling fan I took down and no connectors. I also had a bunch of ceiling bulbs in the basement with really short chains. These connectors allowed me to easily add a few inches to each bulb with the extra chain I had. And the price was right.

Happy Camper

I recently purchased brand new lighted ceiling fans for my entire house. I was really happy until I realized that I couldn't reach the pull chains on 4 of the fans that were secured to vaulted ceilings. Since the fans I purchased didn't come with a remote control, I knew I'd be using those chains sooner or later. The extenders was a great alternative than buying remote controls and having to get those installed. While it was pretty scary getting on the top step of the ladder to attach the extenders, the fear of falling was the worst of it. I really wanted to make sure that the extra chains matched the existing ones so these were perfect. The rubbed bronze finish was really nice and I was able to cut them to the desired length when it was too long. I also purchased extra connectors so I could make use of the chains again. I'm completely satisfied with the purchase and would recommend these.

Does what they should do. While waiting for order to come I found same item at local hardware store for less.
