Fixed a problem

Let me fit stem to a size that is not to common. Worked on first installation no problems just like it was made for.

Fine shim works not great in the quality department.

Product work as intended. The shim helped make the hole in my bike fork go from 25.4 mm to 22.2mm. Granted while this does work, it’s not great quality but it does what it’s intended for.

Perfect fit for the off-sized head-tube.

I was totally unaware that the old quill stem system had more than one size. All of my vintage bikes were the same size quill. Then a new “old” bike was purchased. This adapter saved the day. I was able to use the quill I wanted thanks to this adapter.

Perfect

Works great. Just what I needed to convert stems. Very snug fit so it may be difficult to remove from the fork if you want to switch back. Just be aware that quill stem sizing refers to the fork hole, not the stem itself. This converts a 1" stem (which actually measures 22.2mm) to fit a 1 1/8" fork.

Not for seats

Its a shim, yes. It's aprox 26mm at the splines. The upper ridge is aprox 28mm. AKA, aprox 1", and aprox 1 1/8". It will not fit the 1 1/8" tube associated with the seat. Oddly enough, that was my specific search. So. The lip that stops the shim from falling in to a 1" tube is 1 1/8", not the body of the shim. It's not worth the gas to find an open UPS store to return it through. Yay shelter in place Covid-19.
