Don’t Bother

Initial impression is everything is nice EXCEPT for the “rubber” stoppers / non-slip caps that fit on the ends to help hold the tension rod in place. Those things are more like semi-gloss plastic that are essentially useless. Against my better judgment (and after shrugging off the “we are not responsible for injury/damages if this thing falls” disclaimer on the packaging), I went ahead and installed it. Easy enough, just follow the directions. Rod, baskets, and hooks themselves are sturdy and wellmade. But even after installing everything correctly, any contact with a combination of steam and weight (ie from your shampoos and soaps) will make this thing unstable and fall multiple times until you’re so fed up with it that you stop mid-shower to finally just take it out completely. I’m of the mindset that niche products like these should work solely with the items and tools they provide you with (especially for the ~$50 price tag), and you shouldn’t have to make modifications like adding adhesive tape etc to it. So don’t bother buying this until they improve the end caps, or if you’re willing to risk it and/or have some sort of lip for the rod to help support it.

Difficult to adjust so it’s secure. Not secure when fully extended

This is easy to put together but getting it tight enough so it’s doesn’t fall down is much more difficult. Once it’s put in place it feels secure. It’s just getting to that point. Also, the longer the pole is made the less secure and more flimsy it is. Best used without all 3 pole segments.

Not that great

This seems like a great idea for the shower, and I still think it could be. First of all, my item arrived with 2 damages (see pictures). One of the rods had a dent in it that prevented the other rod from sliding into it, so I had to straighten it out myself. I was able to, so I could assemble it. There was a second dent on the body of one of the rods and really no way to straighten it. I did figure I could put the thing up with these flaws facing the wall and they would not be seen. But still, shouldn't arrive damaged. The biggest complaint is this is IMPOSSIBLE to install. I worked at it for quite a while with several attempts and could not get it to be snug. At one point I thought I had it, but as soon as I put anything heavier than a bar of soap and a razor on it, it fell yet again. I finally gave up because I just didn't have the time to invest. I will go back to it at some point, but it just shouldn't be that hard to do. Otherwise, it is made of nice material and between the 2 baskets and 3 hooks, provides a good amount of places to store things. I think it will look nice...IF I can ever get it to hold up.

Interesting

Takes some getting use to. I've only used upright shower corner caddies but this one runs along the length of my shower wall. Pros - seems to drain better than my upright (so will get less mildew buildup), baskets are large and with extra hooks holds more than I expected, chrome basket appear sturdy and durable. Cons - shower seems smaller/ more cramped with large wide rod and baskets (so putting one basket in each corner), rod chrome finished so slightly different feel and look than the baskets and hooks, assembly a bit tricky (tension rod needs to be twisted to loosen and tighten in place which was a bit difficult for me).

great for bath toys!

I had a really hard time tightening this. Luckily I have a line of raised tile so this is resting on top of that. It's perfect for storing bath toys. Wish it came with more baskets and fewer hooks.

Works but not very steady

It took me some time to install it. Mainly to adjust the length and make it steady. I found out it is not easy to stick the bar right in place. Either too loose or too tight (no able to push in straight). I worried if I pushed too hard, it may damage my shower glass or frame. After installation, it seems quite steady, I put some soap and shampoo on it. So far I only put one basket on and I am not sure it can hold two heavy baskets. It has fallen down once. The material are quite solid. But I don't like the plastic ends. It does save space and looks nice. However, it is not very steady to hold stuff with friction. I think it is good for light weight or temp usage (no need to drill holds on the wall or impossible on glass).

Concept is very good, a few small issues

Wide range of adjustable lengths makes it highly flexible and useful in a few different locations. When used in long situations it doesn't always feel completely secure. Type of wall or tile at each end makes a difference in grip strength. Wouldn't use with heavier items when fully extended.

Holds well, Extra storage is welcomed

Before this storage system I had all the shampoo and bottles on the counter and it was a mess. This really did help clear up the space and keep it out of water stain. Installation was a little tough, the pole comes in 3 segment and if you use all 3 make sure it's held sturdy when you turn the pole to create the tension. It fell on me twice before I got the hang of it.
