Got the wrong Yale lever

Looks sleek and sturdy

I ordered this Yale Security Kincaid Passage Lever for one of our doors and I really like this passage lever. I like the nice- looking satin nickel finish color and the quality of the lever; as it seems made of top quality materials used in the manufacture of the product, looks sturdy, and the lever appears to be durable. The lever was relatively easy to install the screwdriver and following the simple step by step instructions outlined in the manual. I also like the styling of the lever and the handles, as they are user- friendly and easy to use to open and close the door. So far so good with the user experience and no issues or difficulties of any kind. But I will be updating this review of anything goes wrong with the parts or functionality ( Ilike the push-button locking, the removable knobs) of this passage lever. Good value for money and well designed door lever. I would recommend it.

Attractive look and feel but was missing instructions and has a slight downward turn

I ordered the Yale Security D510KN01 Kincaid Passage Lever in Satin Nickel. The lever did not come with instructions, but I have installed similar handles and was able to install this handle quickly. If I had not installed similar handles or would have needed a template, this would have been an issue. This was likely an oversight in packaging. The handle is attractive and has a cool feeling and strong appeal. The lever turns downward slightly but was installed correctly. It is a slight turn but any more could be bothersome. The Yale Security handle has a limited lifetime warranty as well. There are other handles available that have a prestigious look and are similar in design. They do not have a lifetime warranty but do not have a downward point. I would consider this handle as an option again.

This lever is a really good one. It looks nice and wipes clean easily and the function is smooth and works every time. It was easy to install and only took a few minutes. love paddles

First, Yale quality is superb. I install a lot of Yale products, rarely ever have a problem, and when I do, its rectified very quickly by excellent customer care reps. This paddle will soon catch on, and no one will twist any more! yes, its that cool..and the look of this paddle is very cool, and modern. for those who had a problem, they should contact yale and evaluate their customer care reps. Just my suggestion, no company can ship 100% perfect products. For door hardware, Yale has been by far the most reliable, specially their electronic deadbolts

Decent handle

I wish this handle was more aesthetically pleasing. It's very generic for the price. If you want something simple, there are better options at a more affordable price. It was easy to install though and we'll see how it holds up over time.

Used parts to fix an older door lever...

It's a Yale product, so you should expect high quality. However, I have to admit something here. I didn't install this handle. Instead, I had a 50-100 year old door handle that wouldn't latch. I cannibalized this device to get the parts I needed to make the other lever work. And now I have a working door! The best thing was that I had a back-up plan. If I couldn't fix the old door handle, I had this one as a total replacement. Win-win!

It’s ok

Solid non locking door lever. Used in a renovation. Looks nice but price point was a bit high. I would go with the amazon alternatives. If you are looking for standard, might as well go with the cheaper option.
