Good

Had some trouble finding a decent fountain on Amazon for my mom, but finally settled on this one. Very happy it actually works and is as described.

I bought this at a reduced price because of package damage.

I think this fountain is beautiful. I did not want to pay full price. Glad I didn't, because it leaks like a sieve. Now, I had been forewarned by other reviewers, and I am prepared to do the silicone caulking. It just irks me that they asked so much for it originally, but continute to send out a product that could be exceptional. I will fiddle with it until it is leak-proofed and sealed, etc. But, I'm grateful I paid way less than asking price.

Leaky fountain UPDATE on 5/31/2021

I wanted to love this fountain for many reasons, especially because of its simplicity in style and function. It is a beautiful fountain and if you like the sound of a "bubbler" fountain (which is somewhat quieter than a flowing fountain), this is a good choice. However, we have not been able to keep water from leaking out the hole on the underbelly where the power cord slips through. We have the plug pushed in as tight as it can possibly go, and yet, it is still leaking water. We may try to silicone around the area where the plug is; I will update if and when we decide to do that. In short, I would give it a 5-star review for simplicity and beauty, but because of the issue with the leak, a 2-star review is all I can give. UPDATE on 5/31/21: We still have this fountain and love the simplicity of it. We were able to stop the leak at the plug site by adding some silicone putty to seal it. We then noticed a small leak coming from the bottom of the fountain when we removed the flat plate to clean it. Again, a little silicone putty sealed it and stopped the leak. Overall, I like this fountain. I DO wish the pump was a bit more powerful; I have it turned all the way up (or open) and it's still pretty quiet. If the manufacturer has suggestions for replacing the pump, I'm open to any of those. I've upgraded my review to 4 stars; if I could add a better pump for more sound, it would probably be given 5 stars.

Worth a little effort for perfection!

I wanted a bubbler to keep the water moving with enough room for birds to drink and bathe. This is perfect! I did have problems with a slow leak at first. Customer service responded to my emails within a couple hours—best customer service department ever! Still, the best solution seemed to be a silicone seal or return the fountain. But first, I pushed a little harder on the rubber plug to try and seal the hole. Voila! No more leak! This fountain is quiet, peaceful and perfect for the birds. Well worth it even if I had needed the silicone. Instructions could be better, but common sense works.......Well, I have to amend this review. It still leaks after all, even after I put silicone around the plug. So disappointing. Will be returning. Still best customer service ever.

It started leaking after 8 months

It looked great at the beginning but started leaking after 8 months. The paint came off in layers and so water was coming out of the walls inside! Not worth it

I'm very unhappy with this product. The worst fountain I've ever bought. After just one season it fell apart. Horrible, for that kind of $ that's a joke.
