Vex VRX 5/64 hex driver

5/64" is not 2mm

Although marketed here on Amazon as 5/64" these are actually 2mm size and the label on the packaging indicates that Wiha considers the two sizes interchangeable. Maybe they are for some applications, but I found this tool to be a very tight fit in the 5/64ths hex head screws on my Chris Reeve Sebenza. I would have had to force fit it to get a secure seating. I returned it and bought a Wera 5/64 screwdriver (of equal or better qality IMO) and the fit was perfect.

A Precision Tool is a Joy to Use

Using Wiha drivers after having used hex keys and the like is like night and day. The Wiha hex drivers tightly fit hex head screws and let you use a lot of force when necessary to unscrew a really tight screw. It almost feels like the driver becomes part of the screw!

Makes for a happy VEX Robotics team!

I coach a VEX Robotics team. The tools sold by VEX are awful in the hands of teenagers. Led to lots of frustrations for them, and consequently for me. This compact tool stands up to the abuse my students dish out. I purchased one of these, and it works so well that I will be buying more so that the kids stop fighting over it.
