Worst screwdriver ever! The tips shatter under normal use!

I bought this set on the premise that Wera is a higher end brand with good quality. I liked the idea of the laser etched tips to provide better grip with difficult screws. I own a set of joker wrenches and they are nice. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the laser etched screwdrivers to anyone who thinks they will have to loosen a frozen or very tight screw. I had used the flat blade screwdriver in the set for about a dozen or so screws, removing them from wood mounted to a cement ceiling. At one point I reached a very tightly stuck screw. Using tge screwdriver over my head, on a ladder and applying as much force as possible with only my hands, bam! The tip of the screwdriver shattered like glass, splitting off half of the blade in a clean break I have never broken any screwdriver by simply twisting it with my own hands. When I contacted the dealer, the response was that “these are items that are expected to wear out” and they would not replace the screwdriver! I responded that this was difficult to understand and quite fresh of them. After all, birmal screwdrivers do not wear out. I would understand bits for electric screwdrivers but not a standard hand operated one. The response was that they would talk to Wera about it. 5 days have past since that response. I can only say thar maybe the idea of the etched tips on these screwdrivers is an interedting idea but if that results in them bein expected to wear out and break, do not buy them! They are far too expensive to be expendables. *** UPDATE *** After an additional reminder to the dealer, and there adding urgency to Wera, I received a reply that Wera will send a replacement directly to me.
