Nice little corner trowel for the non-expert, drywall finisher.

I bought this inside corner trowel to finish some non-standard corners in a drywall job I was recently working on. I've been doing all of the work myself, including drywall finishing and although I'm a decent finisher, finishing inside corners that were not 90 degrees was a challenge. This did a great job of making the corners look good. I only gave it 4 stars because it doesn't seem as sturdy as my other "professional grade" tools and may not hold up to professional, every-day use. Other than that it's a great little tool for the price and should save the DIY'ers some aggravation.

Did what i needed it to

When you need it, its worth its weight in gold, but for basic 90s it doesnt work as good as a 1 piece corner trowel. It doesnt stay true so it requires 2 hands to hold fins out but it will get er done on wierd angles. Or, just mud and sand untill they round.

In restoring a story and a half old home there are few 90° angles. This allowed us to get all of the angles we needed.

Very good for amateur mudder

I've installed and mudded sheetrock off and on for decades. I never got all that good at it and I presume a professional could use a straight knife just fine, but this adjustable blade helped me, at my skill level, make much more even corners with minimal sanding on a ceiling that slopes upward from the wall. Decent quality, but you need to check adjustment once in awhile. Good product for weekender like me.

The adjustable nature is nice for uneven walls or gambrel style attics walls, but I wish the wings were larger. Much of the compound I am pulling squeezes out of the sides as I pull. This isn't an issue, but the larger wings would allow for less sanding and a more even application.

Great design, easy to use

Just what I needed for some oddball angles. Easy to take apart and clean. Easy to adjust. Some have said it is too small but it is the same size as my fixed 90 degree angle trowel.

It worked, but wasn't great.

It worked, but wasn't great. The hing mechanism is exactly in the corner (which you can see), and I was hoping they had some magic to keep that from messing up the corners, but it wasn't so magical. I was always working with caution as it seemed it would pretty easy to snag and tear the tape with the sharp edges of the hinge.
