Great tool, not perfect but very nice

Value for money- maybe 3/5 or 4/5 at best. But otherwise this is a killer tool. Feels high quality, seems like it will last… but I’ve already started to have the tips slip out quite a bit with increasing frequency. Not sure if this has more to do with the snap rings specifically I’m working with, or the tool itself, but I feel that the engagement tips themselves could have been longer to prevent slippage. Overall I’m impressed though, and can see why people like knipex.

Great Pliers - Knipex

We have quite a few Knipex tools. All perform quite well. Once you buy your first Knipex tool, you won't buy a competitor if a Knipex is available.

Quality constantly for a lifetime plus

An excellent quality pliers. I use them extensively in my jewelry chain making when making loop in loop and double loop in loop chains. A well built quality tool. They beat the hell out of any cheap discount national chain import. These pliers are a worthy investment in your tool box.

Love my growing Knipex collection. These were a great addition. Zero negatives and worth the cost in time saved not struggling with junk pliers. About the reviewer that rated these poorly - there is simply no chance he is using them correctly.

Great German made external snap ring pliers. Knipex is over 100 years old, specializing in pliers only. Their products are the world's finest. Excellent price for this item. I recommend all Knipex Tools. You can find clear descriptions of all their tools on their web site. Great US product support by the Knipex Office in Illinois.

Knipex eben...

Schlechtes Werkzeug führt zu schmerzhaftem Verlust von Haut, sagt man. Und man sagt auch: Wer billig kauft, kauft zwei mal. Wieviel Wahrheit in diesen Volksweisheiten steckt, das musste ich in vielen Jahrzehnten als Hobbyschrauber schmerzhaft und teuer erkennen. Daher kaufe ich nur noch gutes Werkzeug und wenn ich es zu dem Preis dieser Zange bekommen kann, freut es mich noch mehr. Über die Zange selber braucht es nicht viele Worte. Super verarbeitet, unkaputtbar, Knipex eben...

Gutes Werkzeug

Gut verarbeitets und haltbares Werkzeug. Sind die zu öffnenden Sicherungsringe aber eher kräftiger dimensioniert, dann sollte man aber lieber die nächstgrößere Zange wählen, auch wenn vom Anwendungs- Durchmesser diese Zange noch passen würde.
