Elegant throw blanket
This is an elegant and comfortable throw blanket that is extremely lightweight and perfect for a hot summer night. This is placed on our couch and it is used a lot by the kids. It is also eco friendly since this is made out of recycled materials.

Attractive, nice blanket for the beach, park, or...
My wife has become a big fan of the Vera Bradley brand and so when I spotted this Vera Bradley Indoor/Outdoor Throw Blanket I thought I’d grab it for us. My wife was not convinced - not that she didn’t like the brand, but she felt we already had a nice enough blanket for the beach, park, concerts, wherever we might need one... but having seen her joy in the Vera Bradley bags she’s been getting, I decided to get this one. In the end, my wife is glad I did... and so am I. This Vera Bradley Indoor/Outdoor Throw Blanket is nice, looks nice, and will do wonderfully when we need it. It arrived in a way we both felt would work for gift giving - not so much in any fancy bag or the like, but that it was nicely folded, with a ribbon - something that can be easily wrapped or put in a gift bag - and that the recipient would be very grateful for such a nice gift. Unwrapping, one finds that it is not the softest blanket in the world, but we did not expect it would be. This is a utilitarian, outdoor, on the ground kind of blanket. But still... it IS nice feeling and not at all as utilitarian or uncomfortable as we expected. In fact, my wife stated clearly she WOULD feel 100% fine and comfortable curling up with this wrapped around her - hence the pics of her with it. This IS a nice blanket with enough comfort - and plenty of warmth - that we will most certainly be comfortable wrapped in it. I grabbed it because I liked the colors. I thought they’d look nice on my wife and it would be a it of a “dressy” blanket, looking good at that outdoor concert venue for classical to pop, or on the beach, or at the park... it looked nice. And in reality, it does look nice. It’s a lovely blanket and my wife does look great wrapped up within. The materials are good, solid, and we are sure they’ll last a good long time, provided we care for it. In the end, like all Vera Bradley products, we are once again impressed and happy to have added this Vera Bradley Indoor/Outdoor Throw Blanket to our home. In reality, it’ll likely live in the car so we always have it when we are out... but wherever we keep it and use it, we’re thrilled to have this Vera Bradley Indoor/Outdoor Throw Blanket.

Great for the car and outdoor use
I keep this in my car, I used it a couple times to cover my legs when I was cold, but since the weather has warmed up, I've found myself using it on the ground mostly. We've used this at the park for movie nights, concerts, etc. and picnics. I wash it after each use, there have been no stains yet (I do pretreat if I find spots before I wash), and it's held up better than most picnic blankets that I have. I do use the dryer on low to dry this, then I just fold it up and toss it back in the car. It's also worked in a pinch when I needed to protect some breakable items, and I can use it to sort of block things into a corner in the trunk so they don't roll around. I really like this, I may pick up a second as our park excursions have started including more people, plus the little kids love sprawling on this for movie nights in the park.

Great for picnics
I mostly have fleece throws, because they're just so soft and warm. There's something to be said for sturdy cotton throws, however. The Vera Bradley throw is a great blanket for picnics or other outdoor activities. You can wash it after a day out, then use it around the house as an easy throw. It has a decent weight to it, so it won't just slide off if you have it wrapped around you. Yeah, it is a bit on the pricey side, but most Vera Bradley items are. Some are worth it and some definitely are not. I think this throw is on the "worth it" list, in my opinion.

Nice Throw, But Priced A Bit High For The Quality
While this is a nice throw blanket, $59.07 seems like a pretty steep price for what it is. The material is a sturdy cotton, almost like a super soft canvas material or sturdy dishcloth. It's true to size and the colors in the pictures for this and has strong stitching. It's not the most comfortable blanket to lounge with, but would be great for somewhere like a sunroom, porch, or patio. Overall, this is about the quality that I would expect for a throw blanket in the $30-40 range. It's a nice throw, but not almost $60 nice. I would recommend either skipping this one or buying it on sale.

Quality Workmanship
Vera Bradley Indoor/Outdoor Throw Blanket is well-made. It measures 60” high by 50” wide. It has a rope looking fringe to give it a summer vibe. It is made from washable recycled cotton. The blanket has a texture to it (slight texture). The cotton is sturdy so it can handle being outdoors. The blanket has a beige background with yellow, coral, and gray stripes. It has quality stitching. It is a lightweight throw. The throw is washable. This is a good blanket to use around a fire pit, lounging on the porch, or at the beach (at night with a bonfire going). The throw has a summer, beachy vibe. This is a quality blanket that I would expect from Vera Bradley. This is the perfect blanket to keep by my fire pit.

It is a light weight throw with soft beachy colors that make you want to throw this on when chatting with friends. Colors are coral, yellow, blue, and white and the stripes just add the perfect tough of cozy summer nights! Blanket measures 60 inches high & 50 inches wide, generously sized for spreading out or cuddling close. The edges have a soft knotted fringe for added décor. MACHINE WASHABLE -machine wash cold, gentle cycle, only non-chlorine bleach when needed; tumble dry low; warm iron I highly recommend this throw for gift giving or as a gift for yourself!
