Only good for chipping

Wanted to use this product to help lower my launch angle by using it as an impact target net on my bigger net. However, it ripped on the first day, about 15 easy 8-iron swings into the first use. Now two weeks later, it is completely trashed. It could work great if you are only chipping into it, but it doesn't hold up to even an easy, technique-focused swing beyond short-distance chips.

Really not useful

My husband is a scratch golfer and I thought that he would really enjoy this. He uses his practice net in the backyard a lot and as a non-golfer, I thought this would be an aide. He says it is "useless". When hitting from so close a distance, you really cannot aim for a "bag". His technique is to aim for the middle of the fairway and/or the hole and hit for that. He seems to be pretty successful (pure amateur and recreational golfer) but tying to aim for a specific bag from this close is not possible or helpful for him.

Having fun practicing!

The media could not be loaded. I am new to golf and have been practicing at home with a backyard golf practice net. I saw this and thought it would be a great addition to add to my home practice setup. I tried to connect it to my golf practice net but it doesn’t work that well with my setup (I couldn’t get the attachment straps short enough to hold the target up- it sagged down and bunched up). I didn’t want to connect it using the netting material on the practice net for fear of tearing the netting so, I came up with a different solution that I actually like better. I had an old clothes rack that I was able to connect the SKLZ golf target to and now I have the ability to move it around (see picture). I can use it outside or inside to practice my chipping. It works great! I like that there are 3 different height targets. I have been successful with the two lower targets but have yet to chip into the top target. I guess that means I need to keep practicing. :) So far, I am very pleased with this target.

Great add-on for our existing practice net! Provides an extra challenge…

This target piece is an excellent idea… Our existing net has a single center (removable) target, so this provides a next level challenge. Finally got a chance to set up the net & try it out. It clips on most anywhere &, on ours, it goes right up in the corners like the listing pictures show. For $20, it’s definitely worth it for the ability to hit with 3 goals + the pockets show you if you have! The golfers in the family are having fun with it & they all give it a thumbs up. **Thank you for reading this review & I hope that it’s Helpful!** ⛳️
