These things are amazing for a renter

I rent a basement apartment with minimal sunlight. I also suffer depression, and bright lighting is very important as it helps me stay more alert and feel more energized. My apartment came with okayish lighting. I replaced all the fixture bulbs with super bright bulbs but still, there were a lot of dark spots and shadowy areas in my apartment. I really wished I could get some recessed can lights put in but again…I’m a renter. And it’s also something I couldn’t afford if my landlord wasn’t willing to pay for it. I came across these lights when searching for a solution. I was skeptical, as I like BRIGHT light and figured these wouldn’t be as bright as I’d like, but oh well…they would at least help. Right? Omg I was so pleasantly surprised! They are SO bright! I’ve already bought three sets and want several more! They are small in size and pretty flat too, so they don’t stick out like a sore thumb from the ceiling. I like the length of them and I like the simple on/off switch…I hate so many of the lights out now with remotes and built in timers and such. I find them glitchy and often not compatible with smart plugs or timers. I also like that the wiring is all white. So many other strands of lights have black wiring, which wouldn’t blend in with light colored ceilings. The length from the plug to the first light is pretty good, compared to many other types that have stupidly short cords. The flat plug is also a bonus for low profile. I do have to use extension cords though, as I am hanging these from the ceilings. I have a drop ceilings so I just used that thick double sized super strong tape to mount these to the metal grid. But I think 3M strips would work great as well, as these as very light weight. Mine are plugged into smart sockets so I can tell Alexa to control them or control them from an app on my phone, and not worry about the switch being on the ceiling. I sure hope they pass the test of time, because I’m in love. They are a real game changer for me. My only wish is that they were waterproof or at least water resistant, because I want these in my bathroom. I had put up a an led strip around the edge of the entire ceiling in the bathroom and that thing isn’t nearly as bright as these. So renters: buy these!

They are worth the money.

They are super easy to install and are really bright. They are worth buying for your kitchen, living room, bathroom or bedrooms. I brought 4 packs and got them in the kitchen, living room and bathroom. The only thing I don’t like about them is the little screws that come with them but it’s easy to change the screws if you have different ones.

Adds a lot of light when used under the cupboards to light a kitchen counter

I have a 9-foot counter that needs more light, so got two 3-puck strings of these lights. They are very bright and really illuminate well under the cabinets. I’ve put these on a smart switch, so I can turn them on and off easily. There is a switch on these, but we tend more and more to hook things to smart devices we can control remotely or with Alexa. BRIGHT and WARM

Well, I'm impressed. We bought the disk light set to replace lighting from an older curio. This is the warmest light I have seen come out of an LED. And I didn't know such small lights could put out this much light. Installation was a breeze. Plug in and screw into place. You could even use velcro or command strips, because they are lightweight as well.

As advertised

These were easy to install of you use double sided 3M tape. They keep the area brightly illuminated but I wish I had gone for dimmable, they are so much better! If you plan to keep them on all the time for looks like I do then I recommend a dimmable set but I did not realize the difference it would make as I've never used under cabinet lighting before so worth a mention. This set is as advertised and they work as they should so im giving them 5 stars, my fault for not buying dimmable lights. I was not able to use the screws because the tip went through the cabinet and you can feel it on the inside,attached photo. That's an easy fix though, use tape or command strips. I really like how they have the flat plug though!

Easy

I did some revision to the wiring on these lights in order to use the existing wiring and switch that fed my old counter lights. Works great, much better illumination of counter area than I had before. Yes, I realize I voided the warranty but they were inexpensive and it works. Wife is happy.....

Great purchase!

We bought these to replace older halogen lights. Installation was a breeze. A little brighter than the halogen, very pleasant light, not harsh. Very cool unlike the halogen which we were scared would burn down the house if we forgot and left on. I’m very happy with our purchase. A great product.
