Nice snorkel at a good price, but arrived with the extended top black instead of the safety orange. No biggy!

Tube flexes
My preference would have been for a stiffer tube. Unless clipped to a mask, there is not enough stiffness to hold with the mouthpiece alone. Better than some in that regard, but not ideal for my purposes.

Great Simple Snorkel
I've had this Scuba Choice snorkel for about 6 months now and used it a lot for free diving and spearfishing and I've been happy with it. It's simple and effective. The tube is wide and long enough to get a good breathe up, and flexible but not too much so. The mouthpiece is comfortable and it hasn't leaked in the time I've had it. I usually squeeze the mouthpiece with my hand when I'm clearing it. The increased air pressure as I exhale helps push the water out.

poor quality does not work
The tube has no internal support and bends over when trying to swim. Other similar snorkels float, this one, however, does not! The top of the tube is heavier than the stem, so it flops over in the water and drags behind you rather than floating above your head. Any water motion coming from behind, and you suck up a mouth full of sea water. Definitely do not buy until the manufacturer fixes this issue.

It’s not one piece.
Can’t beat the price, but beware this is not one piece! If you will use this just for a vacation or once in a while, it’s fine, but if you go often, buy something one piece. After frequent use a little water started to get in the tube, just enough to be annoying, and then once in a while the mouth piece will actually pop all the way off of the tube. Easy fix but this is where water is getting in. Update- I used it 1-3 times a week for a few months. The mouth piece just pops off randomly. Today the mouth piece came off as I was jumping in the water and I couldn't find it.

Great snorkel better price
This is a snorkel worthy of freediving. Flexible material, large diameter, simple and functional. The difference between this snorkel and a brand name spearfishing snorkel is 50 bucks. If you are unhappy with this snorkel, diving is not for you.

Old school
Difficult to find a simple reliable snorkel these days. Forget all BS and bells, whistles and purges and learn to use this one.

this thing sponges water like a sieve .. need to remove and drain every third stroke.. totally useless.. and replaced with other model

It's a soft tube. Haven't tried it yet. Stuck to 20 years old my rigid tube. Will keep as a backup.
