Best soap out there - especially for sensitive skin
I'm a long-time fan of Tom's unscented soap - it cleans properly, doesn't strip my hands to the point where I immediately have to follow up with lotion, doesn't leave goopy residue in the sink, and doesn't smell "medicated" like so many unscented products do. I ordered these from Amazon as I expected company where one guest is sensitive to perfume, and she too was thrilled by this soap. It arrived looking a bit dented, but not to the point where the bars were crumbling or anything like that. But it was the real thing - Tom's Unscented Soap - not some knockoff stuff.

Great for sensitive skin & nose (fragrance free)!
This is THE BEST soap I've found for my eczema and dry hands! When I use it regularly, it makes my hands so soft and my dry, cracked hands almost completely go away! During the summer months, this alone does the trick. During the winter, I still have to use lotion to keep the dry, cracked, and bleeding hands at bay, but this soap greatly decreases winter's effects on my hands! This soap does leave a residue in the sink and shower (so beware) but it is worth it for the help that it gives my skin! I’ve found that Dawn Powerwash works the best to remove the residue (with the least amount of chemicals and work). Plus, this soap is fragrance free, so if you're sensitive to scents, like me, this is so nice!

Why is this suddenly so expensive?
I love this soap, and I've bought it for years, but I'm going to have to switch to another brand since it has become so expensive. Why did this happen?

Great for my sensitive skin (Eczema/Dermatitis)
I've been trying for a while now to find a soap that would not irritate my skin. I occasionally get contact dermatitis/eczema so it was quite important that I found something which would not bother my skin. If you're wonder what that means: I basically get rashes, irritations, scales, and/or bumps on my skin quite easily depending on the ingredients in the products that I use on my skin. So here's the story on this soap, I randomly stumbled onto it while in a store one day, and decided to give it a try. I was a bit hesitant as I started using it because I was cautious about some kind of reaction happening, so I used it minimally, and didn't notice any problems. I used it for about a week before deciding I would buy another bar. I eventually started using it quite liberally and it's been working great since. I've actually been buying it for a little while now and I normally buy the 6 pack on Amazon. I would suggest buying that one if you do end up buying it as I've never had a problem with it, and I see a few reviews saying the other ones are oddly sized and such. Personally, I have only used the coconut bar so I can't speak for any of the others. I personally think this soap does a pretty good job at cleansing and moisturizing your skin while not being too harsh on it. One thing I noticed is that it leaves sort of a sheen on your skin (I believe this is one of the oils in it), it dries up a little bit shortly after you dry your hands, but there's still something left behind. You can also taste it a little if you don't dry your hands properly between washing and eating something with your hand. One thing you don't want to do with this bar is leave it in water as it will melt. Make sure you put it in a dry spot after using it or in a soap dish that drains. If you have sensitive skin, I would definitely recommend that you give this soap a try. I can't make any promises but I hope this product works as well for you as it did for me. I'll still search for more products that I can use on my skin, because you never know when a company may decide to change the ingredients or your skin decides that it doesn't want to play nicely with something anymore.

Lasts longer than other similar soaps
I tried Kirk’s soap which is also a good quality soap but Tom’s last about three weeks for their 5 ounce bar to a little over a week Kirk’s for 4 ounce bar.

I switched back to this soap after trying Kirks to save money. That soap made my skin so dry. I naturally have dry skin and this soap doesn’t bother me and I even use it to wash my face. Each soap bar also lasts much longer. So you get what you pay for. I was worried this would be a knockoff or something but as far as I can tell, this seems to be the same as the Tom’s soap I used to buy at my local store that doesn’t carry it anymore.

I have very sensitive skin and this is the only cleansing product that I can use. It makes your skin feel wonderful.
