Thick and comfy socks with caveat

These socks are great...at first. They are thick and comfy with padding in all of the spots one would need. I wore them on a 17 mile hike. After the first 8 miles, I noticed pain in my pinkie toes--normally never an issue. Came to realize that my feet had swollen, coupled with the thick socks, rendered by toe box too small. This is not a sock issue, just a heads up if doing a long hike. I was thankful that I had a thin back up pair. Overall, Thorlos have proven to be a great product.

For hiking, exercise, or sightseeing, nothing beats Thorlos. My feet are dry and happy even after a few hours on the trail. I’ve been buying these for decades and the quality has not diminished.

7 of 8 were perfect!

Thorlo is the only sock I have ever found where the heel stays on my size 7 foot. Best socks ever. I ordered 8 pair of crew hiking socks and one of the 8 pair was an ankle length sock. Other than the mistake, I highly recommend.

Very comfy but too small

I really like Thorlos socks because they have great cushion in the heel. These have the same thick cushion, but they were a bit small so I returned them. I may reorder them in larger size. The 3-pack is a good deal!

Great but a bit expensive!

Product fit perfectly. Padding is great. Quality is good. Just a bit expensive. I was scared that I might get a fake product but thankfully that wasn't the case.

Excellent and would like some more...

I was looking for some thicker, cushioned and absorbent walking socks for winter. These socks fit the bill. I love how soft they are inside, the constuction being looped like cotton sports socks, but with excellent wicking properties, because they are not cotton. Not had any issue wearing regards blisters, when wearing as the only pair i.e no liner socks. Wash very well on a gentle wash I do weekly with my fleeces and walking trousers, and they dry quickly. I would like to try more Thorlos socks after having these.
