Not what I expected

So usually the items from the drop fit either perfectly or slightly too big, which is fine because that can just be taken in. However when you see a drop by a plus sized influence, you kind of expect the clothes to fit much better than you’d expect. (I’ve ordered from previous drops with smaller-sized influencers and the items fit perfectly). I don’t know if they were running out of fabric to fulfill these orders or if something is up but the sizing was not it. I was able to get the pants to close but I’m not confident without some shapewear. I understand the shipping time because these need to be made once the drop is over, but price-wise they should be at least $10 cheaper. The quality is comparable to SHEIN but the prices don’t match. It’s literally just the pants from this collection that don’t fit correctly. I’d return them and wait for them to be in the “Just a few left” section, but folks wear the clothes and return them, sweat and all and I’m not purchasing used returns for the original price.

Whoa, super small

When I saw this collab upcoming, I was SO excited. I love the concept of The Drop and really love the commitment to size inclusivity. More than that though, when I saw The Drop was partnering with a plus sized influencer, I got EXTRA excited because us big folks know what works well for each other. I placed my order on launch day and began the wait. Well, everything came today and to say I'm disappointed would be an understatement. These pants looked SO PROMISING online. The details! The fit! Wow. You rarely find something with this kind of tailoring in plus world, so I was so excited. When I went to put the pants on, I was surprised by how small they seemed. I normally wear a 24/26, but because I know sizing can be weird and I wanted to be safe, I got a 4x. Per the size chart on here, a 4x should fit a size 28-30. I should have been swimming in these pants. I was. . . not swimming. In fact, I couldn't even get the pants closed. I would probably need another 6 inches around the top to get these pants to even button! For the price point and the long wait, I just expected better than these pants. This fat girl is tired of overpaying for low quality stuff that is uncomfortable and doesn't fit right. So, back to Amazon they go.

Beautiful quality pants!

These pants are a unique treasure, from the slanted front buttons to the flow of the satiny, stretchy fabric. GORGEOUS! Sadly, they were not high waisted enough on my body and were a bit smaller than I personally prefer them to be on my apple shape. Don't let this detail sway you - these pants are one of a kind and I'll be ordering again in a larger size if they return in-stock!

Sizing way off!

SO DISAPPOINTED I've been following Natalie for years and was really excited by her collection but the sizing is WAY off, this was meant to be designed with plus sized people in mind. I have ordered other items from The Drop before so went with the same sizes, L for tops as I'm a UK16/18 and M for trousers as I have a slightly smaller waist as a UK14/16. The trousers measure only 29in laid flat and 30in across when fully stretched this is a small UK 12 not 14-16, I needed at least another 5in to be able to do these up and even if I had gone for the next size they would have still been too small. The leg width was good though as I usually have a problem on the thighs but didn't with these, just couldn't do them up! So disappointed as I ordered one of everything and nothing fits!
