Great Fit Even for my Skinny Kid!
Fits great because he can cinch in with the adjustable waist AND wear a belt! He says they are comfy too!

Sturdy straight legged chinos
I purchase a lot of clothes for my grandchildren from The Children's Place both on Amazon and from their home store, and so far, I really can't tell the difference. These particular slacks I bought for my 6 year old are of sturdy fabric, well stitched, with very strong seams. The pockets are even and deep, good for a little boy who likes to stuff treasures in his pockets...The snap fits and work well, while the zipper is easy to zip back and forth, and placed nicely. They are a size 8 and fit him perfectly, not too tight, kind of a relaxed fit, but, thank goodness, not baggy. They stay up and stay put. The length is great, the hem hits the tops of his sneakers and bends a little over the top. In the back they go down over the heel of the shoe but do not touch the ground. The nice square pockets on his backside are so cute, very stylish. So yes, I am very pleased and he was very happy with these chinos, great purchase! Of course as always with Amazon Prime, they arrived early, wrapped sufficiently in thick plastic...

I'd go a size up if possible
So, these were adorable and worked for a one time use in our house, lol. My kiddo is 6, but a tall skinny little 6. He is just growing out of most size 7 in his closet so I ordered 8 slim. Slim wear usually works for him, however, these we could barely button around his waist. Maybe our version of slim is different for this style????

Generous sizing !
These are nice lightweight dressy pants but definitely on the larger side ! I have to tighten the adjustable waist to the tightest setting... for my average 6 year old I also have to roll up the hem a little bit. I also purchased a belt .. on my skinny 8 year old the length is good but he needs a belt . I bought size 6 for my 6 year old and 8 for my 8 year old. I should’ve gone with 5 and 7 but at the same time I wanted the pants to last for a year or more - which they will

Slim is extremely slim
Slim is extremely slim! My 3 boys are super skinny and tall. I bought one size up from their normal age/size because all sizes had the slim option, and I figured it would fit them perfectly, was so excited for this option. None of my skinnies could button their pants ???? but other than that, good quality as usual with the Children’s place brand. I’m ordering the next size up for my oldest and I will just hand down the other sizes to my younger boys, and donate the smallest one. Problem solved. (Obviously the size in my profile is not for my kids. It’s mine and I’m under my husband’s Amazon account, FYI)

Runs small
My son has Children’s Place uniform pants size 16 and they were pretty loose. So I bought 16 skinny to be worn in between and they were too snug. Was able to return them without issue.

Talla reducida.
Buena calidad y color, pero viene en extremo pequeña la talla, mi hijo usa talla 14, por ese motivo encargué una talla 16 y no le quedo. No le cerró el boton...

Las tallas vienen más amplias.
Es como para un niño de 7 años y mucho más pesado, lo compre talla 6 basándome en las referencias de las tallas pero aún así quedo muy grande de altura y cintura.
