Absolutely beautiful and bright.
These lights need a hub. I have never been so frustrated with these lights trying to connect it. The gateway, zigbee hub, smart hub, RGB and RGBW compatible remote control and all available apps to connect the lights are not working, not compatible, in my case. I tell you my experience. I spent weeks, hours reading reviews and even returned the lights and ordered new ones thinking they didn't work. And nothing, but nothing worked. ????????‍♀️ But I didn't want to give up. The lights look great even though they were only white. Until I decided to make my last attempt with "HUBITAT" and yes! it finally worked. And finally I was able to connect it without any problem. ????How it works, step by step on Hubitat.⬇️ press tools⬇️ Connect to hub⬇️ Device⬇️ Add device⬇️ Find by brand⬇️ Generic/Other⬇️ bulb ⬇️ Generic zigbee RGBW Light⬇️ and there you press + Start zigbee pairing. I wish someone had explained step by step how to connect it to Hubitat. It's really very frustrating, having no idea how to do it and trying to do it with all these other hubs that don't really work. Again I speak from my own experience. Good luck.

Good price and good product
Second set of Sylvania smart lights (first set still working) I first bought these lights in 2018 to use along a path and that set is still installed and working today. I have noticed some issues lately where they turn on during the day (and default to a purple color), or at night sometimes they will revert to the default purple color, but this is just a minor annoyance that will happen a few times a month. They are priced pretty inexpensively for an outdoor smart light. They were unavailable for a while and I was just able to buy another set in 2021. My setup: I use SmartThings to control all my smart devices, and it was really easy to add this one to the app. I have them turn off/on at sunrise/sunset. Installation inconveniences When I got the new set I ran them out to my garden, but the cord is not long enough for them to start where I need them to (I needed about 3 more feet). I purchased 7 different 4-pin extension cables but none matched what I assume is a custom-sized 4-pin connection. This is really disappointing because Sylvania does not sell any cable extensions for these kits. There is another spot where I would like to use the lights on one side of a walkway and use a set of 3 along a small patio on the other side. With a 3ft extension cable this would be easy to do, but there is no way to extend the length between the 3-light extension kits. As a solution I plan on purchasing another company's smart lights (which do work with a large variety of additional extension cords), and using the Sylvania lights in a different spot. Inaccurate description "SYLVANIA Smart LED ZigBee RGBW Full Color Outdoor Accent Light" These are not RGBW (5-pin) just RGB (4-pin), so white control is not as precise. For my scenario I have been able to get a nice warm white that matches my other outdoor wall lights. Path lights I found these originally when searching for path lights, but they are labeled as accent lights, and I definitely think that they serve a more decorative purpose than a functional purpose. They are bright, but the lights don't really illuminate a path very well. They are useful for adding visual interest and layers of lighting throughout an outdoor space. Single-color lighting I am not into crazy colors or anything, and I keep my lights at a warm white throughout most of the year. I only change to an orange on Halloween or a cool-white during the holidays. So only being able to use one color across the whole strip at a time is not too much of a big deal. But... I can buy a Govee LED light strip for $30 and that comes with a whole suite of dancing light displays and colors at only the touch of a button. I feel like having no lighting effects at all is kind of a bummer. Overall These are decent outdoor smart lights that are a good price.

Beautiful and an Amazing Value - One of the Best Smart Light Add-ons I have purchased.
When I came across the listing for these SYLVANIA Brand Smart Lights I actually thought it was a pricing mistake, so naturally I purchased 2 sets as quickly as I could and then just hoped they would show up, and that they would be remotely close to what was advertised. I had very low expectations because most of my house is filled with very expensive Philips Hue smart bulbs and products, and something similar to this from Philips Hue would start easily at 500 bucks, and then probably end up a lot more when all said and done... I am happy to say that my assumptions were all wrong. These lights are fantastic! First and foremost, this brand of lights is legit. SYLVANIA is a great brand for lighting and makes quality stuff. And at this price, you literally cannot go wrong. The cheap knock off brands are the same price or more, and as I said earlier, the Philips Hue branded ones are crazy expensive, so if you are even slightly debating getting these, just pull the trigger and thank me later. The seller was Great, and provided fast shipping that had my lights show up days before the estimate given in the order. Light Quality & Install: BRIGHT! Like way brighter than expected. They synced to SmartThings immediately, control is easy and the lighting spectrum is huge. Took my first two sets that arrived and combined them into one longer set. This is very easy, literally unscrew a cap on the end of one set, screw the second set into that end, and boom!, twice the length of lights. After that I pushed them into the ground (they are all on little stakes) and that was it: Beautiful, fully installed, incredibly customizable, all seasons waterproof accent lighting. Very Awesome.... After recieving my first two sets and seeing the high quality of the lights and the way they looked, I immediately purchased two more kits right away. Overall I couldn't be happier with all 4 of my products. If you are reading reviews, it means you have at least some interest in this product, and if that's the case then you should buy these. There is no way you will be disappointed!

LED technology has come a long way - these have not.
Admittedly these are fairly inexpensive for a Zigbee Outdoor light set. However that’s really where the good ends and the mediocre begins. The light accuracy on these are terrible, yellow is almost green; blue looks more like violet. In comparison to a competitor such as Hue, the lighting is terrible. Im retrospect I’ll keep the set as a I got them 50% off and the red colour which I’ll be using as an accent light works well. At regular price, maybe check something else.
